Yamaha YZF-R1 gets new colors

On the official site of Yamaha Motors India, we encountered the new color scheme of YZF-R1, a supersports bike. Three new colors that are shown at the site are Blue, White and Grey. The bike looks more exquisite and luxurious in the new outfit. The eye-pleasing appearance is overwhelming the senses as these new colors are quite more captivating.

The supersports bike boasts a 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke DOHC, 4-valve engine that is mated with the 6-speed transmission. The engine is robust as it is able to dish out a maximum power of 182.1PS at 12,500rpm with the peak torque of 115.5NM at 10,000rpm. The bike can run at its maximum crouched speed of thrilling 285kmph. With In-line 4-cylinder mill, the bike is made furiously impeccable when it comes to riding and is summed up with a fuel tank capacity of 18 liters.

Highly informative analog plus digital instrument cluster is integrated to Yamaha YZF-R1 that displays speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, water temperature meter, clock, etc. Diamond type frame is used for the assembly of the machine. Telescopic fork at the front and swingarm at the rear is equipped to the suspension system of the bike.
