The Monster Energy MotoGP variant of the Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 has been sold out in the Indian market. With this, the company has also removed the motorcycle from its India website. This development has been confirmed by our dealer sources in all the major cities.
Yamaha launched the YZF-R15 V4 back in September last year in India and the new model featured a major design change that takes inspiration from the bigger Yamaha YZF-R7. Along with this, there is also a new trim called the R15M. Under this trim was the Monster Energy MotoGP Special Edition.

This variant featured MotoGP inspired livery along with the trademark Monster Energy graphics on the side panels.
The changes, however, were limited to the styling and the feature list was the same as the standard R15M. The mechanical specifications, similar to the rest of the variants, included the BS6-compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 18.4PS and 14.2Nm.
That said, if you’re a fan of special editions, Team Blue has the R15M World GP 60th Anniversary in its lineup. It was launched back in April 2022 and comes wrapped in a special white and red ‘Speed Block’ colour scheme paired with shiny golden alloy wheels. The livery looks clean, attractive and sporty all at once.
Though it is available at only select dealerships as of now, our sources have revealed that the new batch will arrive across India by the end of this month. Most dealerships are even accepting bookings for the same. Retailing at Rs 1,88,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), if this special edition bike has impressed you, you can visit the nearest Yamaha showroom and book one for yourself. - Yamaha r15 v4 is a great fully faired sports bikeThe reason i chose this bike was quite a story in short, i was a student who was about get in college and i needed a bike to travel a quite moderate distance. When i was searching for a bike which is highly affordable as well as stylish on the looks and has great features too! Then i came across this masterpiece which was totally worth it. The ride is great so far. But there are few factors to look for if a beginner is going to buy this bike, as a fully fair bike the biggest issue would be comfort on long ride eg. Posture issue because of the aggressive stance fully fair bikes usually have. But for the short to moderate distance its great soo far. And handling also good, and mileage is better than expected. One more thing to consider, if someone lives in a crowded city like area they can this as this bike isn't a street fighter or naked body bike for city specific conditions. I would absolutely recommend this bike to even a beginner who want to get a thrilling ride experience of a fully fair bike at price rang as low as this, mileage also great compared to other similar bikes, great handling too, maintenance is also fairly rated i would say, totally worth it!Read More2 1
