Yamaha R15 V4 On-Road Price: In Top 5 Cities

Even with the on-road price crossing Rs 2 lakh in a few cities, the Yamaha R15 V4 is still one of the most value-for-money bikes in its segment!

The R15 V4 gives you track-focused styling and sharp handling in a lightweight package. Its ex-showroom price starts around Rs 1.73 lakh, but the buyer always ends up paying a much higher amount thanks to taxes and other expenses. Here is how the final on-road numbers compare across five major cities.

Delhi

Delhi is the cheapest city on this list to buy the R15 V4. The ex-showroom price is Rs 1,73,050, RTO charges come to Rs 13,844, and insurance is Rs 11,600. That keeps the total on-road price at Rs 1,98,494, just under the Rs 2 lakh mark.

Kolkata

In Kolkata, the total price crosses Rs 2 lakh hitting Rs 2,01,220 on-road. The base ex-showroom price is Rs 1,73,950, state RTO tax adds Rs 15,655, and insurance costs Rs 11,615.

Mumbai

Mumbai comes in higher at Rs 2,05,251 on-road. The ex-showroom tag is Rs 1,74,440, but Maharashtra’s RTO tax jumps to Rs 19,188. Insurance stays  at Rs 11,623.

Chennai

Chennai is slightly pricier at Rs 2,07,223 on-road. The ex-showroom price is Rs 1,74,640, RTO fees work out to Rs 20,956, and insurance costs Rs 11,627.

Bengaluru

Bengaluru turns out to be the most expensive city by a wide margin. While the ex-showroom price is standard at Rs 1,73,850, its RTO tax alone takes away Rs 34,735, which is more than double what Delhi charges. With insurance at Rs 11,613, the final on-road price reaches Rs 2,20,198. That’s around Rs 46,000 over the ex-showroom price.

If you’re planning to buy the Yamaha R15 on EMI, the estimated monthly rates range between Rs 5,734 and Rs 6,367 across these cities. Note that these estimates assume a standard 9.5% loan interest rate, though your actual payout will depend on your bank, down payment, and loan tenure.

Disclaimer: These on-road price figures are estimates generated using standard tax calculations. Final showroom quotes may vary depending on local dealer handling fees, optional accessories, and selected insurance add-ons. Reach out to your nearest authorised Yamaha showroom for the exact amount, and also the waiting period.

r15v4 the beast

I had a brother who likes riding this old r15 and I was small and didn't knew any super bikes at all and this was my first super bike which had all sharpnes at edges, the colour, the speed, it had some personality. Its been amazing by so far, smooth, light weight. Its top speed is pretty good. It gives good mileage. It is very nice for long rides. Performance of the bike is so good. Suspensions works very well on road. Yes for sure but take my opinion and explore different bike, It may have something that this bike wouldn't have that charm but you can go for it if you want sporty look and a good racing bike. Its nice.Read More

r15 V4 Review

The r15 v4 has the old punch while handling the BS6 engine with good aerodynamics and aggressive seating position. Its very easy to reach 140+ with default setting while it was not made for the long drive push, we can try the limits where I've driven around 25,000km in the same bike as well. I love it as my soul.Read More

Yamaha r15 v4 is a great fully faired sports bike

The reason i chose this bike was quite a story in short, i was a student who was about get in college and i needed a bike to travel a quite moderate distance. When i was searching for a bike which is highly affordable as well as stylish on the looks and has great features too! Then i came across this masterpiece which was totally worth it. The ride is great so far. But there are few factors to look for if a beginner is going to buy this bike, as a fully fair bike the biggest issue would be comfort on long ride eg. Posture issue because of the aggressive stance fully fair bikes usually have. But for the short to moderate distance its great soo far. And handling also good, and mileage is better than expected. One more thing to consider, if someone lives in a crowded city like area they can this as this bike isn't a street fighter or naked body bike for city specific conditions. I would absolutely recommend this bike to even a beginner who want to get a thrilling ride experience of a fully fair bike at price rang as low as this, mileage also great compared to other similar bikes, great handling too, maintenance is also fairly rated i would say, totally worth it!
