- Listed on Yamaha’s Indonesian website, a few of these are expected to be available in India too.
- The list includes carbon tank pads, carbon fuel cap pad and carbon front and rear fenders and more.
- Prices of the accessories may vary when they are launched in India.
Yamaha has launched official accessories for the new MT-15 in Indonesia, where the accessories market is huge. The list of accessories includes lighter fenders, Ohlins USD monoshock, a range of aftermarket exhausts, tank pads, new levers, crash protection add-ons and others. Yamaha will be launching the MT-15 in our market on March 15, but to keep costs in check, the India-spec bike has been watered-down compared to the Indonesia-spec model. However, if we expect Yamaha to bring at least the following add-ons to India, if not all. Do note, the prices mentioned in the story have been taken from Yamaha’s Indonesia website.
1. Tank Pad and fuel cap pad:
You don’t want someone to scuff up your new Yamaha MT-15, do you? Well, Yamaha’s official accessory list includes a tank pad and a fuel cap pad to protect your fuel tank from scratches. The tank pad has been priced at around Rs 610, while the fuel cap pad will set you back by around Rs 560.
2. Lever set:
To enhance the sporty look of the MT-15, there’s a custom set of aluminium levers on offer. These are available in two colour options - gold and silver. Both these colour options are priced at Rs 3,180.
3. Radiator cover:
Radiator covers do not only protect the radiator from damages, but also enhance the visual appeal of the motorcycle. The aluminium radiator cover for the MT-15 has been priced at Rs Rs 3,000.
4: Skid plates:
Yamaha is also offering skid plates to protect the underbelly of the engine for the MT-15. A set of aluminium skid plates will cost you Rs 2,900.
5: End grip and bush stand set:
Not only are the levers available in gold and silver colour options, the list also includes bar end weights, which have been priced at Rs 1,270. The bush stand (fork and swingarm sliders) are also available in the same colour combinations and retail for Rs 880.
6: Cap reservoir:
If you want to add a bit more bling to your MT-15, the list also includes brake cap reservoir, priced at Rs 976.
