The Chrome colour variant is the most premium one in the FZ-X’ lineup

Yamaha has launched a new colour option called Chrome for the Yamaha FZ-X, priced at Rs 1,39,700, making it the most expensive one in the FZ-X’ lineup. Moreover, the first 100 customers who book the bike online will also receive a Casio G-Shock watch upon delivery. The Japanese manufacturer has also launched a new Metallic Black colour option, priced at Rs 1,36,200 (both ex-showroom Delhi).

In the Chrome variant, the tank and headlight nacelle have a shiny chrome finish, complemented by golden wheels. The bike's mechanical aspects remain unchanged, with its 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing the same 12.4PS and 13.3Nm.

The suspension setup includes a 41mm telescopic fork and a monoshock, while braking is handled by a 282mm front disc and 220mm rear disc with single-channel ABS. Features include an LCD instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity through the Y-Connect app. Its closest competitors are the Kawasaki W175 and Keeway SR125.
