This upcoming Royal Enfield bike sounds refined, thanks to an all-new liquid-cooled engine

We have seen countless spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC and now, we have a fair idea of what this upcoming Royal Enfield bike sounds like. Check out the exhaust note of the bike here.

We’ve all come to associate single-cylinder Royal Enfield bikes with a mellow thump, with the famous dug-dug being toned down due to stricter emission norms and revised engine internals. However, with Royal Enfield’s first liquid-cooled engine, the Himalayan 450 LC is loud and sounds properly refined. Upon throttle input, the bike sounds pleasingly grunty, similar to what you’d hear from KTM bikes.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC is expected to be launched by mid-2023 with an expected price tag of Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
