TVS Apache RTX 300 Top Variant: All You Need To Know
Here’s what you get and miss on the mid variant of TVS’ first ADV.
The TVS Apache RTX 300 is the first ADV from that brand, and it’s one of the friendliest bikes in its segment. It comes in 3 variants – Base, Top, and BTO (Built-To-Order). The Top variant has covers a lot of basics you would expect from an touring-oriented ADV, and also offers some extra goodies. Let’s take a closer look at everything it gets:
Price & Positioning
|
TVS RTX 300 Variants |
Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
|
Base |
Rs 1,99,000 |
|
Top |
Rs 2,14,000 |
|
BTO (Built To Order) |
Rs 2,34,000 |
The TVS RTX 300 Top variant is priced at Rs 20,000 more affordable than the BTO (Built To Order) variant. With the Top variant, you get everything from the Base variant, but miss out on a few things like fully adjustable front suspension and TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system). That makes it quite a value-for-money proposition for someone who is relatively tight on budget.

Bikedekho Says
The Top variant of the RTX 300 is a sensible choice if you want a decent set of features and convenience that the Base variant misses out on. You still get the powerful engine, good touring capabilities, and an eye-catching design. If you don’t want to spend a lot, you should consider the Top variant. Those looking to go all-out can take a look at our BTO variant explainer.

TVS Apache RTX 300 User Reviews
For my inter state rides as I currently live in Ranchi but my home city is Chaibasa so I have to travel between these city a lot and this bike feels best when I ride for a longer distance. The major reason was the height of the bike, as I am 6.1 ft 24M, it is the best height bike for me. As I can feel that this bike is not for daily commuters as it is quite big for the Indian roads but the whole seen changes when you ride it on highways. I feel confident while riding this, one of my cousin have RE Himalayan and when compared to it, this bike feel more agile and is more practical. I would recommend this bike to only those who wants to have a best all rounder bike as it has best in the market technical specs, (even I have not fully explored all the modes of the bike thus far), it feels confident to ride on in many situations. And to top it all off, it has best engine as both BMW and TVS came together in this. Read More
I used BMW 310 gs before buy this bike but it beats the BMW 310 gs because of its features are fantastic. Relay involve this features, firstly, Its display and quick shifter. Most important is city ride, very comfortable no heating issues in city ride. The riding modes are fantastic. So this was the first time I rode a bike which had riding modes. Before this I thought features but work fantastically. The suspension is alright for the roads but it's not as comfortable as I thought. It's little stiff for an adventure bike. I didn't take it on proper off road but got the idea on city bumps. Bike is so manageable even for short riders. I'm just 5'8 and I was sceptical about whether to ride it or not and I was so surprised how well balanced this bike is. I can't even flat foot on my CB350RS and this one's has even taller seat yet I could manage it like any other bike. Weight distribution is good. Engine heating, It's freezing cold here in Delhi and yet I found it heating even riding on lower rpms.Read More
The looks are awesome also the features provided in this price is very greatful to have. And it is the most comfortable bike in this budget. The bike always gets people noticing and excited about the price. The ride is really nice and comforting. A rider can easily ride this bike a minimum of 100km or more without getting tired. The handling is great and the mileage is also great as per the torque you are getting. All over the bike is impressive. This bike is totally recommended. My friend is 5.6 he still rides my bike without any extra efforts. And I am 6.1 still I look good on the bike. The bike looks is aggressive and also it looks good on both the genders.Read More
Affordable pricing for an adventure bike. After reading your reviews I was interested in this bike so this was a great choice for me. Since Himalayan 450 price was increased after the recent tax hike, this was the perfect price point for me to get my first ADV Bike. Great Handling, easily manageable in rush hour traffic, great seating height as I am on the taller side. I have gone on multiple above 50 km rides on this bike and faced no issues so far. The riding modes are a big plus point in this bike. Yes I would definitely recommend this bike. Even if you are a experienced rider or a nice looking to get into the world of bike riding, the apache rtx 300 is a wonderful piece of machinery that has something for people of all experience levels. I was looking for a bike which just fits right in my pocket and offers great features. And then just got the news of this Adventure bike from TVS. TVS has been one my favourite brands considerably because it is made in India. The second reason is its look. wow. Who can offer such ergonomics at this price. It is incredible. Every ride feels exciting and adventurous even though I might be riding on the same route. It is comfortable for both the rider and pillion. I am just 5.8 feet and I am able to land my foot at ease. Absolutely, 10 on 10. A bike thats offer best Value for Money. Be it is riding modes, braking, suspension and those grippy tyres, these are absolutely loved by each of my friends. And who can ignore the power delivery ones it hit at that RPM.Read More
