TVS launched a new variant of the Jupiter 110, called Dual Tone. It is offered in two unique ‘Spectral’ colour options. This is now the new flagship variant of the TVS Jupiter 110.

Design & Styling
The new paint scheme is the main highlight. A dual-tone finish puts the distinct spectral colour on the front mudguard, lower part of the apron, and main body panels, with a contrasting white colour on the side panels and upper apron. The brown seat cover matches the interior panels quite well.
Compared to the single-tone models, the dual-tone Spectral colours look fresh and unique. Apart from the new colours, the design stays identical to the standard Jupiter to keep the comfortable and family-friendly silhouette, chrome highlights on the mirrors, and sleek LED headlight. The colours on offer are Spectral Blue and Spectral Copper. Both look really well done in our opinion.

Since this is only a colour update, the feature list carries over from the SmartXonnect Disc variant, but with the addition of sequential indicators for a more premium appeal. Practical features stay intact:

Engine, Performance & Underpinnings
The Jupiter 110 Dual Tone uses the same 113.3cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine. The power delivery is family-friendly, and smooth. The starter motor also doubles up as an electric assist, offering a 0.6Nm torque boost to ensure better acceleration.
There’s a telescopic fork at the front, a 3-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear, 220mm front disc, and a 130mm rear drum with CBS.

The new colour variant is unlike anything we generally see on family scooters, and will appeal to those who are looking for a bit of uniqueness in their otherwise practical, no-nonsense scooter. Sure, it costs Rs 3,000 more than the SmartConnect Disc variant on which it is based, but the unique scheme is worth the premium in our opinion (if you like unique colours). TVS has also thrown in the sequential indicators for extra flash, quite literally!
