From design changes to a bump in performance, here’s what the new Apache RR 310 has to offer.
TVS recently launched the 2024 Apache RR 310 in India, starting at a price of Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom). The bike has undergone a lot of changes to its design, performance and features. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what is different in the new bike when compared to the previous-gen Apache RR 310.
Design And Colours
With the 2024 update, TVS has made minor changes to the bike’s design and colour schemes. Starting with the colours, TVS is now offering the 2024 Apache RR 310 in 3 colour options: Racing Red, Bomber Grey, and Race Replica.
The Racing Red colour scheme offers a flashy red finish on the bike, similar to the red colour that was offered on the previous generation RR 310. But what has changed is the Apache livery on the fairing. The new one is a grey colour Apache livery that extends from the fairing to the tank.
The Bomber Grey Colour scheme is a new one replacing the Black colour scheme that was offered on the earlier Apache RR 310. The Bomber Grey colour offers a dark grey finish with the same graphics as the Racing Red colour.
Lastly, the Race Replica colour scheme is the same as the one offered on the previous generation Apache RR 310, that customers can additionally get with the Built To Order (BTO) kits.
When talking about the design changes, there isn’t much to note other than the addition of new aerodynamic winglets. This is a segment first design feature and makes the new RR 310 look a lot sportier. TVS has also given the updated Apache a transparent clutch cover, which is another segment first feature, and something we’ve only seen on higher capacity bikes.
Performance
The biggest change the 2024 update has brought to the Apache RR310 is the bump in performance. The new bike is still powered by the same 312cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, reverse inclined engine, but now the engine produces 38PS at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7900rpm.
When compared to the old bike’s performance, the engine produces 4PS and 1.7Nm more which is quite a substantial bump.
Variants And Features
The new 2024 TVS Apache RR310 is offered in 2 variants now, the base RR 310 which doesn’t get a bi-directional quickshifter and the higher end variant which gets a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. The base variant is offered in Racing Red, and the higher end variant is offered in Racing Red and Bomber Grey.
The bike gets the same 5-inch vertical instrument console as the previous generation RR 310. The console displays essential readouts like speed, fuel level, tachometer readings, time and trip/odometer readouts.
With the BTO kits, the bike’s full potential can be unlocked. Currently, TVS is offering two kits: Dynamic Kit and the Dynamic Pro kit. Each brings a different set of features to the bike.
With the dynamic kit, you get fully adjustable inverted fork, and preload and rebound adjustable monoshock. Other than this, the Dynamic kit also offers a tyre pressure monitoring system and brass-coated chain drive.
The Dynamic Pro kit adds more electronic riding aids to the bike. It adds a six-axis inertial measurement unit, that cornerning traction control, cornering cruise control, cornering ABS, hill-hold control, wheelie control, and stoppie control.
Price And Verdict
Here’s the new 2024 Apache RR 310’s variant wise price breakdown.
Colour Scheme/Variant |

Rs 2,75,000 |
Racing Red with quickshifter |
Rs 2,92,000 |
Bomber Grey with quickshifter |
Rs 2,97,000 |
When comparing the base variant of the RR 310 with the previous-gen bike, we are getting a lot of changes to the bike, with improved performance and more features on offer with the BTO kits. If you are someone who is looking to get the base bike then the 2024 Apache RR 310 is a sweet deal which offers better looks and performance at a small premium of Rs 3,000. For reference, Earlier the TVS Apache RR 310 was offered at price of Rs 2,72,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
But if you want to unlock the full potential of the bike then you will have to get both BTO kits, which aren’t cheap. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the prices.
Kit |
Price |
Dynamic Kit |
Rs 18,000 |
Dynamic Pro Kit |
Rs 16,000 |
When calculating the price of the bike with both the kits, it comes to Rs 3,09,000 (ex-showroom). The Race Replica colour scheme will set you back Rs 7,000 extra, so the bike overall comes to Rs 3,16,000 (ex-showroom).
This is a bit pricey when compared to its competition like the KTM RC 390 which comes at Rs 3,21,173 (ex-showroom Delhi). The RC 390 has a bigger engine and offers more performance (43.5PS and 37Nm) and has a decent set of features as well when compared to the Apache RR 310. However, the Apache is more of an all round performer that is easy to use on a daily basis, weekend riding, as well as long distance touring. Not that the RC isn’t but the Apache is relatively more comfortable.
