Top 5 Highlights Of The Upcoming Ather Konarc
If you are waiting for Ather’s upcoming affordable electric scooter, here’s what it will have
Ather is set to launch the Konarc on August 29, 2026. It will be its first affordable family scooter and here are the top 5 highlights:
Battery, Range, & Performance
The Ather Konarc is expected to have a decent range, while maintaining a balance between affordability and practicality. The scooter might have a similar motor as the Ather 450X, but could be tuned differently, to suit Konarc’s character.
The platform is designed to support batteries ranging from 2 kWh to 5 kWh, and the same can be expected from the Konarc as well.
Practicality
As seen in the spyshots, the e-scooter has a wide floorboard. The seat also seems to be large enough to accommodate a rider and pillion comfortably. Being a family scooter, we can expect a large-ish underseat storage.
Design
The Konarc seems to have a conventional family electric scooter design. It has good-looking proportions, at least from what we can see in the spyshots. All of this should make the Konarc appealing to family-oriented scooter buyers.
Specifications
The scooter will be based on the EL-01 platform. It is expected to get a telescopic fork and a side-mounted rear shock and rolls on a 14-inch alloy wheel at the front and 12-inch on the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc and drum brakes at front and back, respectively.
Apart from this, we can expect the scooter to get a decent set of features - a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ABS, and more.
Price
The upcoming electric scooter is expected to be priced between Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 1,25,000. With the pricing, the scooter is set to rival the likes of Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ampere Nexus, and the Hero Vida VX2.
