Royal Enfield has finally brought its much-awaited Bullet 650 to India; it has been unveiled at the Motoverse festival in Goa. The bike was already fully revealed at EICMA 2025 a few weeks ago. It is based on the Classic 650, sharing most of its mechanical components in common with it. But there are some key differences.
Styling And Design
Like Royal Enfield Bullet 350, the design retains the familiar teardrop fuel tank, raised chrome handlebar, squared-off rear fender, single-piece seat, and the signature “tiger-eye” pilot lamps around the iconic circular headlight. The hand-painted pinstripes and a winged Royal Enfield badge on the tank further add to its classic-ness. The bike will be offered in two colour options: Cannon Black and Battleship Blue – the latter being an India exclusive.
Engine
Under its classic silhouette, the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has a modern heart: a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that makes 47PS and 52.3Nm. This is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, the same setup used in the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and other 650s.
Underpinnings
It is built on the same steel tubular spine frame, 43mm telescopic fork, and twin shock absorbers – as the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Shotgun, and Classic 650. It rides on spoke wheels with tubed tyres – 19-inch front and 18-inch rear, a 320mm front disc and 300mm rear – with dual-channel ABS – again same as the Royal Enfield Classic 650. The kerb weight is fairly heavy at 243kg, and it has a 14.8-litre fuel tank.
Features
The twin-cylinder Bullet offers an LED headlight, adjustable brake and clutch levers, a USB Type-C charging port, and has a semi-digital instrument cluster. The console combines an analogue speedometer with a digital inset showing gear position, fuel level, trip meters, and service reminders. The Tripper pod is also offered for turn-by-turn navigation.
Price, Launch, Availability, And Deliveries
The Bullet 650 is expected to be priced from Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, sitting between the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Classic. While the launch date has not yet been confirmed, it is likely to launch sometime in early 2026. The deliveries will commence soon after.
