The entire RE Classic range will be offered with option of alloy wheels

The entire RE Classic range will be offered with option of alloy wheels

    • The new wheels are priced at Rs 10,500 a pair (inclusive of installation charges).
    • Will be sold as an optional accessory.
    • Already available across official RE stores.
    • Interceptor 650 & the Conti GT 650 might follow suit.

Royal Enfield has started offering alloy wheels for the Classic 350 and the Classic 500. These will be sold as optional accessories and cost Rs 10,500 per pair (inclusive of installation charges). These are the same units offered on the Thunderbird 350X and the Thunderbird 500X

Dealers across Pune have also confirmed that the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 would be the next in line to receive this update. Considering that both the 650 twins and the Classic series use the same 18-inch rear wheel, Royal Enfield already has half the work cut out for itself. It now just has to work on the front wheel assembly. Considering all this, we can expect a pair of new alloy wheels for the 650 twins to cost somewhere around Rs 12,000.

Traditionally, spoked wheels are always looked at as an easy to replace, lighter and more affordable option. However, they usually come with tube-type tyres (exceptions being the V-Storm 650 and other midsize ADVs) which are tedious to repair. Alloy wheels, on the other hand, come with tubeless tyres, which are easy to repair in case of punctures and also don’t lose air as rapidly as tube-type tyres.  Royal Enfield will also be launching a new Scrambler-style motorcycle based on the Classic family soon, read about it here.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 (in V Good Condition)
The bike is in very good condition. The feel of heaviness in 2013 model is unique and not available in new bullets. It is easy to start because battery is new. Engine was never opened so engine is in excellent condition. Have this bike and enjoy your rides. You will never regret buying this bike I bet.

      Still My Favourite Ride
Bought this bike on 17th March 2016 and still enjoy riding it. The comfort and road presence are great. Maintenance has been reasonable and the engine feels solid after years of use. A reliable bike for daily rides and long trips. Happy with the ownership experience. Worth every penny. Road presence is awesome.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is my dream bike and now i own this..
I've always wanted to purchase a Royal Enfield, and the Classic 350 was my first pick. For Indian riders in particular, it's more than simply a bike; it's a feeling. I also gave the Jawa and Honda CB350 some thought, but nothing compares to the Classic's legacy and appeal. Long YouTube reviews, forum conversations, and advice from friends abound throughout my research quest. I finally knew this was the bike after a test ride. It felt like mine right away—the comfort, the road presence, the thump. The thump of the engine and the riding posture makes it feel special every time. On highways, it cruises beautifully at 80–90 kmph, and in city, it feels stable though heavy in traffic. Mileage is around 34–36 kmpl. Negatives are the slightly heavy weight and higher maintenance compared to normal bikes, but for the experience it gives, I don’t mind. Yes, for anyone who wants to feel a strong connection with their bike and enjoys relaxed, powerful riding. It is not for people who want lightweight, high-mileage bikes. But for enthusiasts and travel lovers, it is the perfect choice.
