The upcoming Honda 750cc adventure scooter will be a cross between a big scooter and an adventure bike, which will be quite interesting to see.

At last year's Milan Motorcycle Show, Honda showcased a unique cross between a big scooter and an adventure motorcycle as the ‘City Adventure’ concept bike. Now, it seems that the model was a lightly disguised pre-production machine as the company is planning to bring its production version soon. The Japanese automaker has refused to provide any technical details about the product yet. However, some reports say that it will be based on the 745cc parallel-twin engine and a slightly tweaked version of the tubular steel frame from the Honda NC750 range of motorcycle and Integra scooter.

It seems that with this new adventure scooter, Honda is going to add another genre-busting machine in its line-up, following the DN-01 and Vultus. In February this year, the company also applied for the trademarks ‘X-ADV’ and ‘Honda X-ADV’ and both were granted in June. After that company released a teaser video for this upcoming model which confirmed that the final name of the upcoming adventure scooter will be ‘X-ADV.’ In the video, the scooter has been ridden aggressively on different kind of terrains, confirming that it is an adventure machine. The first teaser of the model also says, "The Story Continues 30/08/16" which means that more clarity on the product is coming soon.

Some design patent images of the upcoming Honda X-ADV were also leaked earlier, which further gives some clear details of the product. We can say that it is much closer to its concept model, however, it gets a redesigned exhaust muffler, hand guards and windscreen. The scooter will get features like durable spoke wheels and off-road compatible tyres, along with some higher spec components like radial brake callipers and beefy USD forks at the front.
