Honda Reveals Prices Of Models Equipped With ABS & CBS

Honda has revealed the prices of its ABS and CBS-equipped scooters and motorcycles on its website. The company now offers a total of seven scooters and nine motorcycles with either CBS or ABS, safety nets which became mandatory on all new two-wheelers in the country from April 1 this year. The Japanese manufacturer is yet to update its 110cc Dream Neo with CBS. Meanwhile, the company still offers non-CBS versions of the CD110 Dream, Dream Yuga, Livo, Shine and Shine SP. While two-wheeler manufacturers have been directed not to manufacture non-ABS or non-CBS models starting 1 April 2019, they are allowed to clear their existing stock. This could be the reason why the non-CBS and non-ABS variants of the above-mentioned models are still listed on the company’s website.

Interestingly, the website also lists the standard, CBS and Honda CB Hornet 160R on its website. Even prices of other bikes like the Unicorn 150, Unicorn 160, Hornet 160R, X Blade and even the CBR 250R are listed with and without ABS. Among the ABS equipped bikes, Honda’s flagship CBR250R is the only bike to get a dual-channel unit.
Manufacturers are in the process of updating their websites with prices of ABS and CBS-equipped bikes and scooters. Recently Bajaj revealed the prices for its CBS and ABS-equipped bikes on its official website. Here’s a quick look at Honda’s new price list:
