For 2026, Honda has introduced its E-Clutch technology to the Rebel 300, making the popular entry-level cruiser even more accessible and easier to ride. The E-Clutch feature is aimed at both new and experienced riders, eliminating the chances of stalling and making city commutes or long rides smoother.
Honda E-Clutch
The system, which first appeared on the Honda CB650R and Honda CBR650R, allows riders to shift gears without using the clutch lever, while still offering the option of manual control. The technology requires no buttons or special settings, automatically switching between clutchless and manual operation depending on the rider’s input.

Design
The Rebel 300 retains its bobber-inspired design that’s shared with the larger Honda Rebel 500 and Honda Rebel 1100. It has a round headlamp, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, low-slung stance, blacked-out components like the engine, exhaust and more. For 2026, it gets 2 new colour options: Pearl Smoky Gray and Matte Black Metallic. Those who like subtle looks will be fine with these colours, as neither of them are flashy.
Engine
The Honda Rebel 300 uses a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that’s shared with the Honda CB300R. It makes 30.4PS, 27.4Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox – that now adds the E-Clutch system.

Underpinnings
It uses a diamond frame, 41mm front fork, and dual shocks. It has a 296mm front and 240mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with a 130-section front and 150-section rear tyre. The kerb weight is 191kg, seat height 690mm, ground clearance 125mm, and fuel tank 11.2 litres. The low seat height and the E-clutch system make it an excellent bike to learn riding – in developed countries. Consequently, the low ground clearance is also designed for such regions.
Features
This Honda bike has all-LED lighting, and an LCD console that shows the speedometer, tachometer, tell-tale lights, indicators for fuel level and gear position. We’d have liked it if Honda had given smartphone connectivity on this bike. Afterall, even the much more affordable Honda CB350 H’ness gets it.

Expected Price, Launch Date, And Rivals
In the U.S. the 2026 Honda Rebel 300 E-Clutch is priced at USD 5,349 (around Rs 4.70 lakh), which is a USD 500 increase from before. While the Rebel 300 is unlikely to be launched in India, we have a much better deal – the Honda Rebel 500 – here. However, it is available only in select cities.
