Honda QC3 Electric Scooter Unveiled In India

It has twice the battery of the QC1, and a more usable range

Honda has unveiled the QC3 India. Here is everything you need to know about Honda's all-new family-focused electric scooter:

Design

The Honda QC3 has a wide handlebar and an upright riding position. It looks practical for everyday commuting. The sleek LED DRL and headlight give the scooter a modern look.

Motor, Range, and Charging

The Honda QC3 is equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack and a claimed IDC range of 145 km. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 40 minutes using a fast charger, while a full charge takes 4 hours.

Underpinnings

The scooter is suspended on a telescopic fork, and the rear is taken care of by dual shocks. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and a rear drum brake, offering a simple yet practical setup for city riding.

Features & Convenience

The Honda QC3 gets a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity (Bluetooth connectivity with call, SMS, and navigation alerts). It gets a USB charging port at the front to charge your phone or devices on the go. Additionally, the scooter features a smart key and a spacious 32-litre under-seat storage.

BikeDekho Says

The QC3 looks promising; however, Honda is known for pricing its products at a premium. For the QC3 to succeed in the mass market, it will need to be priced competitively against its rivals. For reference, the QC1 is priced at Rs 90,708 (ex-showroom). It has a 1.8 kW motor, 50 kmph top speed, 1.5 kWh battery, and an IDC range of 80 km.
