Honda will launch an updated Grazia BS6 soon. Here’s how much it could cost

Honda Grazia BS6 Expected Price

Honda had in the past week released a teaser in social media indicating the imminent arrival of the Grazia BS6. The 125cc scooter gets cosmetic updates and is expected to get feature updates and an all-new 125cc motor. So how much is the upcoming Honda Grazia BS6 expected to cost? Here’s the analysis:

Consider the Honda Activa 125 BS6’s delta:

The Activa 125 BS6 is the closest scooter to the Grazia BS6 when it comes to updates. As part of its BS6 update, the Activa 125 BS6  also got minor cosmetic updates as well as new features like an LED headlamp and external fuel-filler cap. The Grazia is expected to share the Activa 125 BS6’s all-new 125cc fuel-injected motor and ACG starter generator.

When the Honda Activa 125 BS6 was launched it received a price hike of 10.16 percent. The BS4 Grazia before being discontinued was priced at Rs 60,296. Applying the same delta, we could expect a price hike of around 6,200. That would put pricing in the range of Rs 66,500 (ex-showroom) for the base variant.

It is expected in three variants:

Like the Honda Activa BS6, the Grazia BS6 is expected to be available in three variants as well: Std, Alloy and Deluxe. In the Activa 125 BS6, the Standard variant gets drum brakes and steel pressed wheels. Its higher Alloy variant gets drum brakes and alloy wheels and features like side stand engine kill switch and range and fuel efficiency calculator. On the top spec Deluxe variant, you get all the features of the Alloy variant plus a front disc brake and start-stop system. We expect the Grazia to get similar variants as well. The price difference between the Activa’s 3 variants are Rs 3,500. So you could expect the mid Alloy variant to cost around Rs 70,000 while the top-spec Deluxe variant to be priced around Rs 73,500.

At this price point, the Honda Grazia would compete with the TVS NTorq 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125.
