Honda offers the CB200X in just one variant, but three striking colour schemes. Here’s what they’re all about

Honda has entered the highly lucrative small-capacity ADV segment with the just-launched Honda CB200X. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 1,44,500 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 13,318 more expensive than the Hornet 2.0, on which it is based. While the motorcycle doesn’t have any variants, Honda offers the ADV in three striking colour schemes. Let’s take a look:

Sports Red

The red, black, and white colour combo in this model is reminiscent of the red colour variant of the Honda Africa Twin. Parts of the tank fairing, tail panel, and the front portion of the front fender are all colour-coded. If you’re looking for the quintessential ‘Honda’ colour scheme, Sports Red is the one to go for.

Pearl Nightstar Black

This colour variant comes with an all-black theme, with red and white highlights on the fuel tank extensions. While the black colour gives the bike an inconspicuous look, the white and red combo brings out just about the right amount of sporty flair. All in all, if you’re a fan of subtlety, you can’t go wrong with this colour variant.

Matte Selene Silver Metallic

This is by far the flashiest colour scheme of the CB200X. The silver-coloured panels on the bodywork go quite well with the black undertones, while the white and yellow highlights on the fuel tank complement the gold-finished front forks rather nicely. The Matte Selene Silver Metallic truly stands apart from the other two and is ideal for those who want an ADV with attention-grabbing colours.

Best thing is Honda has priced all the three colour variants the same. We’d have liked it if Honda had colour-coded rim stickers for that extra bit of oomph. The motorcycle also comes with a three-year standard warranty, which can be optionally extended to three more years for added peace of mind. Honda says the CB200X will start reaching dealerships in September. Which colour variant will you be going for? Let us know in the comments below.
