Honda ADV 160: Features Explained
India’s only E85-compliant scooter comes loaded with a host of useful features
Honda recently launched the ADV 160 in India. It is the first scooter in India to be E85-compliant. The rugged, adventure-style maxi-scooter is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Here is a detailed explanation of all the features the scooter gets:
Convenience Features
The Honda ADV 160 gets a 5-inch TFT display, which shows the speedometer, odometer, fuel meter and trip meters. The console supports smartphone connectivity via a dedicated application, Honda RoadSync, which includes Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. Additionally, it gets all-LED lighting and 27 litres of underseat storage, making it practical for everyday use.
Safety features
On the safety front, the maxi-scooter gets disc brakes at both ends. It also gets single-channel ABS, which will prevent the front wheel from locking up under hard braking. Additionally, the scooter gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which is switchable traction control that prevents unwanted wheel spin on loose gravel surfaces.

The Honda ADV 160 is future-ready with E85 compatibility and a strong list of features. However, it is priced at a premium over its rivals, the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155. While the other maxi-scooters undercut it on price, they miss out on some of the features offered by the ADV 160. If you are looking for a feature-rich and future-ready scooter, the Honda ADV 160 is the way to go. While Honda hasn't revealed the full specs of the scooter. They are expected to be announced in October, and deliveries will commence shortly after that.

I driven this scooter in Thailand. I wish it would be the same when it comes to India, mostly they reduce the power and might make it slow, but I'm still waiting for it.
