We recently tested the Honda Activa 6G to see what’s new with the BS6 transition and makeover. You can read our detailed review here. So BS6 makes it cleaner, but petrol prices are making my wallet thinner; What’s the Honda Activa 6G going to do about that? Here’s our analysis of its real world fuel efficiency:
It returned 55.9kmpl on the highway. Not everyone rides a scooter out on the highway everyday, but no matter where you live, a city or tier-2 and tier-3 towns, catching short highway runs is almost unavoidable. And the Activa 6G does fairly well with its frugality. We held the throttle at 55kmph, tried to maintain the engine’s relaxed cruising speed and commuted for a distance of 100km. In fact, it’s done slightly better than the last generation 5G, which we tested a few years ago.

Honda Activa 6G Road Test Review: Likes And Dislikes
In the city, the Activa 6G knocks it out of the park with its 59.5kmpl fuel efficiency. Those are good numbers to have if you’re someone who commutes around town for work and needs a reliable, go-to vehicle. It’s simple, uncomplicated and more efficient than before too. We maintained an average speed of 21kmph under urban riding conditions for a distance of 50km. What’s most satisfying is that the Activa 6G still offers almost the same fuel efficiency as the Activa 5G; in fact, it does it better and a share of credit goes to its new and revised engine.
See, for a scooter that will be handled by many members of the family, each one with a very different throttle hand and travel routine, this Activa is frugal enough to return an average combined real world mileage of 57.7kmpl if ridden economically.

- My review of Activa.Wanted eco friendly two wheeler for a beginner for city uses. Also the ride is very comfortable, little good for any household uses also low maintenance cost with high fuel efficiency. Overall good for medium users. Ride is overall comfortable that two wheeler gives very good fuel efficiency all the it has run through the city only but has done more than 3 lakh kilometres on the odometer very low maintenance cost make it pocket friendly. - Super duper hit activa 6gIt's decent choice over available option and It's silent start technology is damn good. As it's colour option available is wide. Is good consideration to buy this scooter over other available option. It's seat is also comfortable over ride. 1000 km drive from 1st day it's running smoothly. It's power and pick up also good. While running it's engine humming noise is not coming so it's satisfactory point. It's storage capacity is also good. Leg space is also good enough. Very Good bike if you need all the thing in one and mileage also good. Safety point of view also good bcz of it's technology.
