Honda Activa 6G Accessories Revealed

Honda showcased a fully loaded version of the Activa 6G at the launch event

The Honda Activa 6G starts from Rs 63,912 for the standard variant. Official accessories include a full-body protector, seat cover, floor mat, and an apron storage compartment. Expect these accessories to be priced competitively.

Honda offers a range of accessories for its newly launched scooter, the Activa 6G. A display scooter loaded with all the available accessories was showcased at the launch event. For starters, the Japanese brand offers an all-round stainless steel body protector to protect the scooter from minor scratches.

Honda also offers a rubber floor mat but interestingly, it doesn’t appear to have any holes for it to be secured onto the floor. On the other hand, its arch-rival, the TVS Jupiter comes with a range of floor mats with different colours and patterns, which can be secured. 

To protect the seat from wear and tear, there’s a seat cover on offer too. It gets premium-looking stitchings and a silver highlight in the middle. For enhanced utility, the company also offers an apron storage compartment. Sadly though, this stainless steel ‘basket’ is pretty crude-looking. Due to the grille-like construction, one can only keep large items like handbags. Keeping small items like smartphones will be risky as it will fall off from between the grilles.

Unfortunately, Honda does not offer an underseat USB port or a boot light even as an option. Interestingly, Honda did provide the charging port as an optional fitment on the Activa 5G. The prices for all the accessories will be revealed once the scooter reaches dealerships, which will be by the end of this month or early February. Stay tuned for updates!
