Harley Davidson India to launch Breakout and CVO Limited on 30th October

Harley Davidson India is going to expand it's line-up with the 2015 Breakout and CVO Limited. Like the other Softail models, the company will import the Breakout via CKD route to assemble in its Bawal facility. Therefore, it is expected to cost just Rs. 1-1.5 lakh more than its sibling Fat Boy priced at Rs. 15.06 lakh. However, CVO Limited will come as CBU units after pre-bookings and can cost round Rs. 45 lakh.

The 2015 Harley Davidson Breakout is a chopper machine, which has been introduced by the company as a drag bike. Along with an exciting custom styling, the bike features big 21" front and 18" rear Gasser wheels, 220mm section rear tyre, chopped rear fender, slammed console with riser mounted speedo, drag style handlebar and low seat. It houses the iconic Twin Cam 103 engine, painted in black and chrome. The 1690cc, air-cooled, v-twin makes 130Nm of peak torque at just 3,000rpm and comes mated to a six-speed cruise drive transmission.

The Breakout comes with many advanced technologies like H-D smart Security system, dual disc brakes with ABS, 3-in-1 stop/turn/tail lights and balanced suspensions.

Coming from the exclusive CVO family, Limited is a full fledged tourer with ergonomic designing, adequate fairing and sufficient storage space. Having pure H-D styling, the bike gets high impact paint and graphics, chrome dual exhaust, LED tail/brake lamp, bullet turn indicators, 3D badges on tank and fender and new mirror chrome slicer custom wheels along with custom touches from the Airflow Collection including rider footboard inserts, passenger footboard inserts, shifter pegs, brake pedal and cover, highway pegs, heated handgrips with rubber inserts, and shift lever arms.

Powering the CVO Limited is a new Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110 engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system. The 1,801cc, air/oil-cooled V-twin delivers 156Nm of maximum torque at 3,750rpm. It comes with Project Rushmore confidence, which comes from the front dual and rear single disc Reflex Linked Brembo brakes with ABS, Daymaker LED headlights with fog lamps, ergonomically designed hand controls, solid 49mm front forks, Ventilator intake with Screamin' Eagle  badge and 6-speed cruise drive gearbox.

For extreme comfort and convenience, the Harley CVO Limited comes with custom suspended dual control heated seat with passenger and rider backrest along with pillion arm rests, increased passenger seat space and Leg room, batwing fairing, fairing lowers and sleek saddle bags with 132 litre storage capacity. The Boom! Box 6.5GT Radio has been added as the infotainment system, which puts out 75 watts per channel at 1% distortion and features a factory-tuned, optimized equalizer that pumps out more power and can be played louder while maintaining the clarity of your sound.
