EICMA 2025: Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Teased

This bike could be the ultimate touring motorcycle from Royal Enfield

Quick News Highlights

  • The bike was partially revealed at EICMA 2025

  • We got a clear look at the 750cc engine

  • India launch likely to happen in 2027

Royal Enfield has teased the upcoming Himalayan 750 in a unique way at EICMA 2025. The bike was under partially-covered wraps inside a container, and we got to get a sneak peek, revealing a few interesting details. Here’s everything you need to know:

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be powered by a heavily reworked version of the existing 650cc parallel-twin engine. With a larger displacement, we may expect the output figures to go up to 55PS and 60Nm from the current 47PS and 52.3Nm in the existing 650cc engine. The brand also unveiled a race spec version of the Continental GT 750, with the same engine.

Another thing which we noticed is the 19-inch wheel at the front with cross spokes, so tubeless tyres can be expected. We had also seen spy shots of the bike with alloy wheels in the past, so Royal Enfield is likely going to offer multiple variants.

We think the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be more of a touring friendly ADV than a hardcore off-roader. The brand mentioned that it will do a proper unveil at the 2026 EICMA, so expect it to be shown in India at Motoverse 2026, with a launch later in 2027. It will be a set-up for riders who have been looking for something that can offer better touring capabilities than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, while at the same time not being as expensive as other 650-750cc premium ADVs.

That said, Royal Enfield has not completely ignored the Himalayan 450. The brand has unveiled a new special edition of the bike with a lot of accessories from the rally kit as standard. It also gets a special black colour scheme which looks quite nice.
