Royal Enfield has just unveiled the Continental GT 750 race bike at EICMA 2025. This bike will likely replace the Continental GT 650 in the next season of the Royal Enfield GT Cup, and the race bike might be called ‘Continental GT-R 750’. Being a part of the brand’s new 750cc platform, it gives us a fairly clear picture (quite literally) of how the production version of the bike could look like.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 race bike looks quite good thanks to the bikini fairing and the race plate on the side panel. The race liveries and the slightly shortened subframe also make the bike look a lot more compact. We’d have liked it if Royal Enfield had continued with the metallic finish on the crankcase instead of the blacked-out one.

Speaking of the engine, Royal Enfield has heavily reworked the 650cc motor, enlarging it to 750cc for more performance. The new powerplant should produce 55PS and 60Nm, and if our prediction is true, that would be an 8PS and 8Nm bump compared to the 650cc engine. As this is a race bike, it comes with custom exhausts for better performance and also weight reduction. The engine was also seen in its stock avatar when the Himalayan 750 was teased at EICMA 2025.

The bike’s underpinnings have also been heavily reworked to make the bike track-ready. There’s a different twin shock absorber setup compared to the gas-charged units that are on the Continental GT 650. For better handling, the bike gets smaller 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with racing slicks. The brakes are also different, as it gets dual discs at the front to improve the stopping power.

As this is a race bike, it doesn’t come with an instrument console or connected features as such. But from the recent spy shots of the Continental GT 750, we know the production-spec Continental GT 750 will get a round TFT console, similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Royal Enfield Bear 650. The console gets smartphone connectivity for navigation, call/SMS alerts and music controls.
We expect the brand to showcase this race-spec Continental GT-R 750 at Motoverse 2025, with a potential launch of the production bike sometime in 2027. While the Continental GT 650, starts at Rs 3.50 lakh, expect this one to cost around Rs 3.9 lakh (both ex-showroom).
