With dealerships and service centres being closed due to the 21-day lockdown imposed by the government to contain the spread of coronavirus, customers whose two-wheelers’ warranties and free service period expire during this duration are in a fix. However, if you are a Honda, TVS, or Yamaha customer, you needn’t worry as these manufacturers have extended warranty coverage and free service facility.

Owners of Honda’s motorcycles and scooters whose free service, warranty, and extended warranty expire between March 15 and April 15 will be relieved to know that the services have been extended by two months. That means your two-wheelers’ warranty will now end between May 15 and June 15.

While Honda’s call centre will be closed during the lockdown, TVS’ toll-free numbers will remain operational from 9am to 6pm. Its Road Side Assistance (RSA) facility will also be available during this time period.
