KTM 390 Adventure X Price Hiked: 350cc Version Incoming

Like the 390 Duke, even the 390 Adventure X’s price has gone up

Quick Highlights:

  • Price hiked by Rs 17,000

  • The 390 Duke also received a price hike recently

  • More affordable 350cc versions are expected to be launched soon

The price of the KTM 390 Adventure X has gone up by Rs 17,000, with the bike now retailing at Rs 3.43 lakh compared to its earlier price of Rs 3.26 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). This move comes shortly after a similar price hike was seen on the KTM 390 Duke. The reason behind this price hike are the GST 2.0 regulations, which has affected bikes with an engine capacity over 350cc. Due to this, manufacturers like KTM have been forced to recalibrate pricing to maintain margins. As a result, buyers wanting to get the KTM 390 series now have to shell out a noticeable premium as compared to before.

Despite the price hike, the 390 Adventure X continues to stand out as a solid entry point into the world of adventure touring. It still has a 398cc engine that delivers strong performance, making it equally capable on highways and light off-road trails. The bike’s upright ergonomics, long-travel suspension, and 19-inch front wheel give it a proper ADV stance. It may be the more road-focused sibling in the 390 ADV lineup, but it still offers enough versatility to appeal to a wide range of riders.

Looking ahead, KTM seems to be working on a solution to counter these rising prices, and according to our dealer sources, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke and Adventure X with the downsized 350cc engine will start arriving at dealerships by the 2nd week of April. So, if you’re waiting for a more budget-friendly option, it might be just around the corner. But if you want the full experience of KTM’s highly praised 398cc motor right now, you’ll have to pay the premium that comes with it.

Best in segment

I am doing long ride on week end also for lite affordable i see many other options like Himalayan 450 but bit heavy for me so I choose ktm adventure because it's light weight easy to ride on highway also good feature of electrical side. On highway I am getting mileage of 30 to 37 kmpl depends on engine rpm this bike effortlessly crush on 120kmph to 140kmph with any engine stress also riding poser is good comfortable in city it's easy to manoeuvre in traffic. Here is my reason to choose ktm light weight good mileage best electric feature like riding mode cornering abs best tft counsel also you get accessories port bottom, also engine power is best in class no match for ktm. My First KTM - Powerful and comfortable

First time KTM owner. Wanted a bike mainly for highway touring and city rides. X plus felt balanced and practical not extreme offroad. Test ride at KTM helped decide. Always wanted a KTM but due to my tall height was waiting for a taller bike, which I got atlast Done around 4500kms already in 4 months. Very stable on highways and easily touches 150kmph. City riding is okay but heats up in traffic but that is expected because the engine is a highly compressed 400cc single cylinder. Mileage is 19-20 in city and around 28 in highways. Yes, I would recommend it for riders who want touring comfort, strong performance and balanced offroad ability. Good balance bike if your usage is city plus highways. It can easily handle even off-roading, you will be surprised by its performance and handling.Read More
