Yamaha R15: All Shades For 2026
Yamaha splits the R15 V4's colour palette into three price tiers, and here’s what would suit you the best

The Yamaha R15 V4 is one of the sharpest-looking motorcycles in the 150cc segment. To keep things interesting, Yamaha offers a total of nine different color options across the standard and R15M variants. Prices range from Rs 1,73,050 to Rs 1,98,340 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi), with features like a factory-fitted quickshifter (upshifts only) exclusively added to certain shades.
Here is exactly what each option looks like and what it does to the final price.
Metallic Black

Black is a classic choice for a sportbike. This version gives you a deep, glossy finish, something really different from loud graphics. Priced at Rs 1,73,050, it sits right at the entry point of the lineup. It looks surprisingly premium for a base option and will easily age well without ever looking outdated.
Metallic Red

Also sharing the base price, Metallic Red is a solid, clean gloss red with no complex dual-tone styling or extra graphics. Deciding between this and the black mostly comes down to a simple choice: do you want your bike to look sharp and formal, or loud and bold?
Dark Knight

The Dark Knight option brings the very first step up in price, coming in at Rs 1,73,950, just a minor Rs 900 premium over the base gloss shades. Instead of reflecting light, this flat matte black finish absorbs it, creating a stealthy look. The gold-finished wheels add to the premium quotient of this colour. If you prefer a low-key, aggressive texture over a shiny gloss, this is likely the one you will lean toward.
Racing Blue

Priced at Rs 1,77,700, Racing Blue sits in a higher price bracket and serves as the R15’s definitive signature look. This blue has been Yamaha's racing colour for years, going all the way back to its MotoGP bikes. You'll spot the same shade on the bigger R-series motorcycles too, and this one even has matching blue-coloured wheels. For most enthusiasts, the premium is entirely worth it just to have that genuine factory race bike character.
Matte Pearl White

Also priced at Rs 1,77,700, this color swaps the shiny look of standard white for a non-reflective finish carrying a very subtle pearlescent shimmer. It gives the motorcycle a premium, custom-painted vibe. On top of the aesthetics. The best part? The matte texture won't easily show messy fingerprints or those annoying swirl marks.
Intensity White (With/Without Quickshifter)

Intensity White is a clean, glossy white, and it's the only colour on the standard R15 V4 where you can pick whether the quickshifter comes along or not. Skip the quickshifter, and it's priced at Rs 1,73,050, the same as the entry-tier colours. Add it, and the price goes up to Rs 1,77,700. Either way, it's worth noting this is a completely different shade from Matte Pearl White, and gets flashy red coloured wheels as well.
Metallic Grey

Moving up to the premium R15M variant adds cooler tech like a TFT dashboard. The cheapest way into this exclusive bracket is the Metallic Grey color, which costs Rs 1,88,130. Its mature, clean metallic finish gives the motorcycle a high-end look that stands out from the standard V4 models.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition

Priced at Rs 1,87,500, this version ditches any form of subtlety for a loud, race-inspired livery matching Yamaha's official MotoGP machines. Complete with sharp branding and aggressive graphic highlights, it is easily the biggest head-turner of the bunch and the closest you can get to a road-legal track bike look straight out of the showroom.
Icon Performance

Icon Performance is the most expensive colour in the lineup. Priced at Rs 1,96,100, it's the flagship colour scheme in the R15 lineup. It pairs the R15M's premium styling with a high-end silver and black combo finish for the most aggressive look Yamaha offers on this bike. It's built for riders who want the full top-spec treatment, both in looks and price.

If you stick with the standard R15 V4, the price gap between the cheapest base color and the most expensive option is just Rs 4,650. Your choice simply comes down to whether you prefer a gloss or matte look, and if you want the quickshifter. However, choosing the exclusive R15M colors means spending a lot more money, as those shades come along with big upgrades in tech and features. We’d recommend going for the standard variant with quickshifter for the best value for money, as it has all the basics in place.

Its very easy to reach 140+ with default setting while it was not made for the long drive push, we can try the limits where I've driven around 25,000km in the same bike as well.
