The upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 450 is expected to be the one of the most versatile offerings in the brand’s 450cc lineup. It will sit right between the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It will be developed to provide a balance between daily commuting, as well as light off-roading. Expected to launch in early 2027 at around Rs 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom), here is how this bike could look according to our image renders:

Design Expectations

The Scram 450 is expected to get a distinct scrambler-inspired look while sharing its base with the Guerrilla 450. It could feature a high-mounted front fender, along with a conventional mudguard, giving it a rugged yet clean appearance. The fuel tank design may be similar to the Guerrilla, but the rear section is likely to be completely new with a minimal design. While a single-piece seat and side-mounted number plate will add to its retro scrambler appeal. The riding posture is expected to be upright and comfortable, making it suitable for everyday use, as well as for touring.

Engine And Performance

The upcoming Scram 450 will use the same 452cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as its siblings. It is also expected to produce the same 40PS and 40Nm, similar to the Himalayan and Guerrilla. However, Royal Enfield could tweak the gearing or sprocket setup to better suit its dual-purpose nature. This should make the bike feel slightly more responsive in the city while still being capable on trails.

Features

Underpinnings And Other Specifications

The Scram 450 is expected to use a larger 19-inch front, and 17-inch rear wheel setup (could be spoked wheels), unlike the Himalayan’s 21-inch and Guerrilla’s 17-inch front wheel. This should make it more road-friendly while retaining off-road capability. It is also expected to get an inverted fork and a rear monoshock, with suspension travel sitting between the Himalayan and the Guerrilla. Dual-purpose tyres will further enhance its all-round usability.
