Convenience Features

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 focuses on delivering a comfortable riding experience instead of offering a long list of electronic features. The motorcycle gets a simple LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, trip meter and clock readouts.

Safety Features

Safety equipment on the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 includes single-channel ABS and tubeless tyres. The tubeless tyres make it convenient to repair punctures and single-channel ABS improves the safety quotient of the bike.

Engine and Performance

Powering the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The motor produces 19.03PS at 8,500rpm and 17.55Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The engine has been tuned to deliver smooth and predictable performance, making it suitable for both city riding and highway cruising. The motorcycle's comfortable ergonomics allow riders to cover long distances with less fatigue. The 160kg kerb weight and low seat height also make it relatively easy to handle in urban conditions.

Rivals

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 offers a more engaging riding experience and a more extensive features list but the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 offers a cruiser’s relaxed riding experience.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 offers a thumping, tractable and premium riding experience but the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is more affordable.

The TVS Ronin offers better handling and a more comprehensive features list but the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 offers the comfort of a cruiser.

I’ve been using the Bajaj

I’ve been using the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 (STD) for a while now, and I’d like to share my honest opinion based on my riding experience. The first thing that caught my attention is its stylish street cruiser look. The low-slung design, matte black finish, and wide handlebars really give it a powerful road presence. It feels like a big bike but comes at a price that’s still affordable. In terms of comfort, it’s honestly one of the most relaxing bikes I’ve ridden. The riding posture is laid-back, and the seat is broad, making long rides smooth and enjoyable. It doesn’t strain your back even on longer routes. The 220cc engine delivers a smooth and punchy performance. Whether I’m cruising in the city or hitting the highway, the power is enough for my needs. It pulls well even with a pillion and has a good pickup.Read More

Good product but some refinement should be done with the engine. Although it is a good bike but service centre should be more careful with bike otherwise it will not delivers full potential . My friend bought this bike 1 year ago he is good at taking care of the bike that's why there is no issue thanks.Read More
