    Quick Highlights:

    • Spotted at a dealership ahead of official launch

    • Underpinnings and console details revealed

    • Official launch to take place on September 4, 2026

The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch. Although the spy shots only show the rear section of the motorcycle, we still get to see some key details about this upcoming adventure bike.

The rear section of the Himalayan 440, according to the spy shots, looks almost identical to that of the old Himalayan 411 and the current Royal Enfield Scram 440. It gets a neat-looking rear fender, minimalist indicators, a simple tail-light and a sturdy-looking exhaust.

Other visible details include a spoke-wheel setup wrapped in tubed Ceat Grip XL dual-purpose tyres. The wheel setup is expected to feature a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear, just like the older Himalayan 411, with a 90-section front and a 120-section rear tyre.

There is a high-mounted, single-piece handlebar with silver clutch and brake levers, round rear-view mirrors (similar to those on the current Scram 440), and a tall windscreen. The main highlight here, however, is the console. It basically gets the same unit as the Scram 440, featuring an analogue speedometer with a digital inset for other important information. Along with this, there’s a Tripper navigation pod on the right side, followed by a Royal Enfield badge below it. Now, this console is going to be quite functional and fairly useful, but it certainly doesn’t look as appealing as the iconic console found on the Himalayan 411.

The official launch of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 will take place on September 4, 2026, and the expected price is going to be around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, this bike could be a great alternative for people who prefer a much simpler adventure bike without an overload of technology, while still wanting a simple and robust engine.

Best cruising segment bike for on road and off road. May performance is best in segment. Powerful engine, previous version of this bike are pretty good but the current version are not practically good or styling. I expect, the upcoming version will fulfil that gap. Just waiting for the official launch of this bike.
