Honda Activa Latest Model 2026: All You Need To Know

Looking to buy India’s best-selling scooter? Here’s a quick guide to all that you need to know before you take out the chequebook

The Honda Activa 110 has been the best-selling scooter in India for years, that too consistently. It’s reliable, easy to ride, and familiar to just about everyone, which is why it remains the default choice for many buyers. The Honda Activa's latest model for 2026 comes in three variants: STD, DLX, and Smart, and here's what each one actually gets you:

Design

Design-wise, the Activa keeps things familiar. You get chrome streaks on the apron for a bit of shine, and the headlight cowl has a neatly designed LED headlight. The headlamp is where the variants start to differ: the base sticks with a halogen unit, while both the DLX and SMART upgrade to LED. Everything else about the look stays the same across the range. The taillight is a bulb, and its design is very sober. No matter which variant you pick, the Activa isn’t something that’ll turn heads. But then, that’s exactly what its target audience wants: a neutral design that appeals to riders of different age groups.

Features

This is where the latest Activa sets things apart between the variants. You get an open glove box with a 15W USB-C port (optional in the base variant, standard in the other two), so charging your phone on the go isn't a problem. The fuel filler is now external with a double lid, meaning you don’t have to get off the seat just to refuel. Step up to the DLX or H-Smart, and you also get a 4.2-inch TFT screen paired with Honda RoadSync, which brings turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and music controls right onto the dash. You also get an average mileage indicator, distance-to-empty, and light and dark display modes.

But the real upgrade here is the H-Smart's keyless setup. Honda's Smart Key lets you unlock, locate, and even start the scooter without slotting in the key.

Underpinnings

There’s nothing fancy here, and that's kind of the point. Honda has stuck to the basics: an underbone frame, a telescopic fork, and a 3-step preload adjustable rear suspension. Braking is handled by 130mm drums at both ends, and it rolls on 90/90-12 front and 90/100-10 rear tubeless tyres. We would have appreciated it if Honda offered a front disc at least in the H-Smart variant. At 106kg, it's light enough to be genuinely easy to manage in traffic. The 5.3-litre tank should keep you going for a good stretch between fill-ups.

Engine

Power comes from a 109.51cc, air-cooled engine that makes 7.9PS at 8,000rpm and 9.05Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, paired with an automatic transmission. It's tuned purely for smooth, easy, everyday riding, twist and go, nothing more complicated than that. So don’t expect performance from this engine.

Price And Rivals

The Activa 110 starts at Rs 76,083 for the STD, climbs to Rs 86,611 for the DLX, and tops out at Rs 91,082 for the H-Smart variant. In this segment, its main rivals are the TVS Jupiter 110 and the Hero Pleasure+ Xtec, both of which are well-priced and feature-packed, particularly the Jupiter. But the Activa's real strength has never really been about beating rivals on paper; it's the perceived reliability and resale value that keep people coming back to it, generation after generation.

it is best in segment for me and very value for money.

When I bought this I think I will regret but because it's competitors like jupiter, Honda dio, ntorq, suzuki access. Have more features, more space but I didn't regret because in one litre of petrol, I get the average of 55km which is quite good according to my driving style because my driving style is little aggressive and with less features, it is more reliable and a very good torque which I feel in every throttle.Read More
