2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Design
The TVS Apache RR 310 features new fairing-mounted winglets, but retains the same design as the previous generational Apache RR 310, with slightly different Apache graphics on the fairing.
As mentioned above, the bike is offered in 3 distinct colour schemes: Racing Red, Bomber Grey and Race Replica. The Racing Red Colour Scheme is similar to the Racing Red that was previously offered. The Bomber Grey is a new colour, which manages to stand out from the previously offered black colour. It features a dark grey finish, with the same Apache graphics as the Racing Red.
The Race Replica colour scheme is the same as the one which was previously offered, and features the same racing inspired liveries that we have come to associate with the bike.
Another design change that the bike has undergone is the addition of a transparent clutch cover. This adds a bit of sportiness to the bike and makes it feel like a higher capacity supersport.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Engine And Performance
The TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by the 312cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, reverse inclined engine, which now produces 38PS at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7900rpm. For perspective, the previous generation RR 310’s engine used to produce 34PS and 27.3Nm and the TVS Apache RTR 310 produces 35.6PS at 9,7000rpm and 28.7Nm at 6,650rpm.
To achieve this bump of 4PS and 1.7Nm compared to previous generation RR 310, TVS has modified the air-intake to increase efficiency. Additionally, the piston on this engine is a new aluminium forged unit which is able to rev more freely and thus produce more power.
Along with this, the bike now gets a bi-directonal quickshifter as standard, except on the base Racing Red variant.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Underpinnings
There haven't been any changes made to the TVS Apache RR 310’s underpinnings. The bike is still suspended on an inverted fork and monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch alloys at both ends, with braking duties being handled by a 300mm front and 240mm petal disc with dual channel ABS.
With the Dynamic kit, you can get adjustable suspension with preload, compression and rebound damping adjustment for the inverted fork and preload and rebound damping on the monoshock. Other than this, the Dynamic kit also offers a tyre pressure monitoring system and Brasscoated chain drive.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Features
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 gets a 5-inch vertical TFT console with TVS’ SmartXonnect technology. The console displays regular readouts like speed, tachometer readouts, time, fuel level, trip and odometer readouts along with race telemetrics.
With the BTO edition and the Dynamic Pro kit, the bike gets RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control) which is TVS’ term for traction control. Other electronic aids include a 6-axis IMU which offers riding aids such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cruise control, cornering cruise control, wheelie control, hill-hold control and stoppie control.
2024 TVS Apache RR 310 Rivals & Verdict
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 goes up against other supersport offerings in the market such as the KTM RC 390, Keeway K300R and the BMW G 310 RR.
Overall, this update has been quite substantial and the increase in performance and new features are a welcome addition. TVS has also managed to price it decently, with the base variant coming at Rs 2,75,000 (ex-showroom). This is just a premium of Rs 3,000 over the previous generation bike which came at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,72,000. For what the new Apache RR 310 offers, this is a really sweet deal.
