Design

The Ather Rizta and Vida V2 have very different design approaches. The Rizta looks more practical and family-friendly with its wide seat, large panels, and clean lines. It gives off a mature and relaxed vibe, suitable for daily use or short family rides. 

On the other hand, the Vida V2 looks sharper and more youthful with its sportier styling, sleeker body panels, and a slightly aggressive stance. It’s clearly aimed at younger riders who prefer something stylish and modern. Overall, the Rizta focuses on comfort and practicality, while the Vida V2 wins on sportiness and visual appeal.

Motor 

The Ather Rizta comes with two battery pack options, a 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh, offering a claimed range of up to 159km, with real-world figures ranging from around 120–130km. It takes 4.5 to 6.5hours to charge, depending on the variant, and delivers a top speed of 80kmph (claimed). 

The Vida V2, uses removable batteries ranging from around 2.2kWh to 3.9kWh, with a claimed range of 94km to 165km but a real-world range of up to to 100km. It takes around 5 to 6 hours for a full charge, and has a peak power output of 6kW with a top speed of 70kmph (claimed). The motor and belt on both of these e-scooters come covered, with the covers finished in matte black which makes them look quite minimalistic. 

Underpinnings 

Both the Ather Rizta and Vida V2 share an almost similar setup underneath. They use a steel tube frame, telescopic fork finished in gloss black (on both scooters), and a rear monoshock for a comfortable and stable ride. Both scooters roll on 12-inch alloy wheels with 90-section front and 100-section rear tyre. However the wheels on the Vida look a bit more sporty, while both scooters get black coloured wheels.

Both get a front disc and a rear drum brake setup with CBS (combined braking system) for added safety. The Rizta weighs 119kg (kerb), while the Vida V2’s weight varies between 116 and 124kg (kerb) depending on the variant. Overall, both scooters offer solid underpinnings, but the Rizta feels a bit sturdier, while the Vida V2 could feel slightly easier to handle in traffic.

Features 

The Ather Rizta comes loaded with modern and practical features, including a 7-inch touchscreen TFT console with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Google maps based navigation, SMS/call alerts, and OTA updates. It offers full LED lighting, traction control, emergency stop signal, and theft alerts. One of its biggest strengths is a big 34-litre underseat storage and an optional 22-litre front trunk, making it very family-friendly.

The Vida V2 also gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with turn-by-turn navigation, keyless start, cruise control, and common features like multiple riding modes and regenerative braking. It features LED lighting and removable batteries for easy charging. The consoles on both of these scooters offer good visibility and the information is laid out in a simple and clean manner.
