2025 TVS Apache RR 310 Old Vs New: Differences Explained

More features and an eco-friendly motor with a slight price hike

TVS Motor recently updated its flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR 310 for 2025. Launched with a price hike of Rs 2,999, it now costs Rs 2,77,999 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle gets some changes when compared to the previous version. Lets have a closer look at what the new Apache RR 310 has to offer.

Design

The 2025 TVS RR 310 now gets the same 8-spoke alloy wheels as its naked sibling the RTR 310, earlier it used to get 5 spoke alloy wheels. Design wise, the RR 310 remains the same as before with its sharp and aggressive looks accompanied by beautifully designed winglets. The Red and Bomber Grey paint schemes are still available but TVS has introduced an exciting new paint scheme called the Sepang Blue Race Replica which will be exclusive for the BTO variant (built- to- order) only.

Engine

For 2025, the TVS Apache RR 310 gets an OBD-2B compliant engine which makes the same power and torque figures. The 312.1cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine makes 38PS at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7,900 rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch with an optional bidirectional quickshifter. This engine offers peppy performance which makes the riding experience quite engaging. The quickshifter works quite well and would be worth investing in.

Underpinnings

It gets a split trellis frame along with an inverted fork and rear monoshock with preload adjustability whereas the BTO version gets fully adjustable fork. There is a 300mm front disc brake and 240mm rear, both petal discs, with dual channel ABS. At 174kg (kerb) the weight remains unchanged. It gets a seat height of 810mm and ground clearance of 180mm - both of which make it quite easy to ride on an everyday basis.

Features

The motorcycle was already quite feature-loaded but TVS has updated it with some more. It now gets  launch control, cornering traction control, engine braking control along with new sequential turn indicators. Along with the new rider aids the motorcycle already had cornering ABS, cornering traction control, wheelie control, rear lift off control, and 4 ride modes: Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. The 5-inch TFT console now supports multiple languages. It already had smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and digital document storage.

BikeDekho Says

The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been a sports bike with great handling, engaging performance and tons of features. The 2025 update takes it a step closer to being one of the best sports bikes in the category. The price has gone up by Rs 2,999 across variants, which is not much for the updates you are getting. That said, the motorcycle continues to remain a great option to consider within the segment.

Super Bike in 310 segment

TVS Apache RR 310 is a fantastic bike for city and highway both. I have used it for 2 years and the performance is superb. The riding posture is sporty but not too aggressive for daily use. Mileage is around 28-30 kmpl in city and 35 on highway which is good for a 310cc. TVS service cost is reasonable compared to KTM or BMW. Parts are easily available in Pune. Features like glide through technology, ride modes and digital console are very useful. Only issue is pillion seat is not comfortable for long rides. Overall build quality and handling is excellent. Highly recommended for beginners who want a sports bike feel. Best bike in this segment under 3 lakhs.Read More

This Apache RR310 is a masterpiece. It’s shark inspired looks still turns heads. Superb performance and agility. Surprisingly comfortable with the upright riding position. Maintenance costs are reasonable for a 310cc. Overall a top tier bike for city riding as well as touring. Maintains 100 kmph cruising speed easily and pushes you to go faster.Read More

The Roar of the Apache Rr310

The bike is very good for beginning. I started my riding journey from this bike. This beast give the ideal knowledge and power of big bikes and can achieve a good skill of driving. I ride the bike like 1200km in one stretch without any compliant. I love the machine and the electronics provided by the company. This bike easily achieve 150kmps without any worth and doesn’t wobble and the corners are very smooth while cornering and for a while it’s just a starch. It will pull you up and handling is favourable and the engine is too much refined in the segment, it offers with BMW engine and I have installed a air filter for better performance (k&n).Read More
