2021 Honda Forza 350 Maxi-scooter Launched Abroad, Gets New Features

The 2021 iteration features new colour schemes and more importantly, a voice control system

The 2021 iteration features new colour schemes and more importantly, a voice control system

  • The 2021 Honda Forza 350’s voice control system can be used for navigation, music, and call control.
  • It also features an updated instrument cluster, and a dedicated set of buttons on the left switchgear for the voice control system.
  • Price starts from an equivalent of Rs 3.88 lakh.

Honda Thailand has launched the 2021 Honda Forza 350 in the country at THB 175,500 (around Rs 3.88 lakh) for the standard variant and THB 177,500 (about Rs 3.92 lakh) for the Roadsync variant. As the name suggests, the latter features HSVCs (Honda Smartphone Voice Control System), using which one can access features such as calls and message access, navigation, and music.

In addition to this, there’s also an updated twin pod analogue instrument cluster with a digital inset in the middle that shows the connectivity features. One can also use dedicated buttons on the left switchgear to navigate through the functions of the HSVCS. That said, the dedicated switchgear looks more like an afterthought, and Honda could’ve designed it to look a little more coherent with the rest of the buttons on the handlebar.

The 2021 Honda Forza 350 continues to be powered by a 329.6cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The power and torque figures haven’t been revealed, but we reckon it makes around the same output as the 29.2PS and 31.5Nm UK-spec version. Both variants feature a traction control system, and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The scooter employs a telescopic front fork, twin rear shock absorbers, disc brakes on both ends, bringing the 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels to stop. The wheels are wrapped with meaty 120-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres.

Other notable features include a windscreen that’s electronically adjustable up to 150mm, an underseat storage large enough to accommodate two helmets, all-LED lighting, keyless ignition, and a USB charger integrated into the apron-mounted closed compartment. While the Roadsync variant is available in two colours: black and gray-black with gold wheels, the standard model gets four colour schemes to choose from: black, gray-black, red-black and blue-black.

Honda is unlikely to launch the Forza 350 in India any time soon. However, if you’re looking for a properly premium scooter, you should wait for the BMW C 400 GT, which is likely to be launched real soon. In fact, the company has already teased the scooter on social media.
