Harley-Davidson Low Rider S Latest Updates
Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off the 2022 Low Rider S and ST models. Both bikes have received a handful of updates, including a new engine which they share with the Street Glide and the Road Glide. Head here for full details.
The 2022 Low Rider bears numerous design updates. Gone is the old, chrome-laden appearance, and in comes a new, slimmer, and darker guise. Up front, the old-school round LED headlight now gets a neat nacelle, while twin-barrel exhaust is now wrapped in a matte black finish, lending the bike a sportier demeanour.
Another update for 2022 comes to the powerhouse. Unlike the older Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, the 2022 Low Rider S and ST are powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 motor, making 104PS and 170Nm. There are no electronics to help manage the jolt of torque and the feature list only comprises ABS, LED lights, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a USB port.
Both Low Rider models are sprung on a 43mm USD fork and monoshock, while they roll on dark bronze 19/16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Scorcher rubber. The rear monoshock has 25mm more travel than the other Soft Tail models in Harley's lineup.
These bikes are expected to set foot in India by mid-2022.
