Yamaha Ray ZR features a raked-out front apron design with an outlandish headlight design and the side indicators integrated into the side panel. The scooter draws grunt from the refined 113cc air-cooled, 2-valve 4-stroke single cylinder engine that generates 7.2PS @ 7500rpm and 8.1Nm @ 5000rpm worth of peak power and torque respectively. The ‘Blue Core’ technology enables this mill to offer you a mileage of 66kmpl.

The V-belt automatic transmission meshed with the engine transmits a seamless drive to the 10inch alloy wheels of the scooter. The braking duties are met by the mechanical leading-trailing drum brake units fitted on both ends of Yamaha Ray ZR. However, you can also opt for the hydraulic disc brake variant.

This mill churns out a decent maximum power of 7.2 PS at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine sports Yamaha’s Blue Core technology and the high-ignitability nickel spark plug units, which together make up for an efficient mileage figure of 66 kmpl (claimed). The power from this engine is transmitted to the seamless V-belt automatic drive.

The lightweight scooter offers a smooth driving experience owing to its road-hugging 90/100-10 53J tubeless tyres that sport reliable adherence while cornering. The stylish scooter is assisted with front and rear mechanical leading-trailing drum brake units that promise decent braking performance.
