Overview
The Suzuki Katana is a litre-class half-faired bike that pays homage to the legendary 1980s Katana while offering modern-day technology and performance.
Suzuki Katana Price
The Suzuki Katana is available in a single variant, priced at Rs 13,61,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Suzuki Katana Colours
The Katana is offered in two colour schemes: Metallic Mystic Silver, and Metallic Stellar Blue.
Suzuki Katana Variants
The Suzuki Katana is available in just one variant.

Suzuki Katana Design
The Suzuki Katana draws heavy design inspiration from the iconic Katana of the 1980s, but with thoroughly modern updates. It features sharp, angular bodywork with a forward-leaning stance. The DRLs are integrated into the tank extensions, and it comes with a golden-coloured inverted fork and bronze-coloured alloy wheels. A stubby tail section, muscular rear tyre, and an exhaust that looks as sharp as a sword, and blade-like turn indicators add to the overall sportiness. However, the number plate holder integrated into the tyre hugger might feel a bit bulky to some.

Suzuki Katana Engine
At the heart of the Katana lies a potent 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that makes 152PS and 106Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bidirectional quickshifter for seamless gear changes.

Suzuki Katana Features
The Suzuki Katana comes with an all-LED lighting setup and a brightness-adjustable LCD instrument console. The display offers both day and night viewing modes and shows data such as speed, tachometer, gear position, fuel gauge, ride mode, traction control level, temperature, and a clock. It gets three ride modes (A, B, C), which change the power output and five (+ off mode) levels of traction control.

Suzuki Katana Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The bike is built on a twin-spar frame and uses fully-adjustable KYB suspension at both ends. Braking is handled by twin 310mm front discs with Brembo radial calipers and a 240mm rear disc handled by a Nissin caliper. The Katana rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 120-section front and 190-section rear tubeless tyres. It has a kerb weight of 217kg, a ground clearance of 140mm, a seat height of 825mm, and a 12-litre fuel tank.

Suzuki Katana Competition
The Suzuki Katana competes against motorcycles like the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster, and the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. While the Z900 is the most affordable motorcycle of the lot, the Katana makes the most power thanks to its larger engine.
