Yamaha XSR 155: EMI Buying Guide

Planning to get a Yamaha XSR 155 on loan? This EMI guide will help you plan your purchase better.

Yamaha first launched the XSR155 back in November 2025, and now the brand revised the pricing of the XSR 155, increasing it by up to Rs 9,000. If you are planning to purchase the Metallic Black colour of the Yamaha XSR 155 on loan, here’s a breakdown of the EMI you may have to pay, considering a down payment of Rs 30,000:

18 Months

If you are opting for a 18-month loan tenure, you’ll need to pay an EMI of Rs 9,655. Considering 9.7% interest rate, the total interest paid will be Rs 12,653. The total repayment sums up to Rs 1,73,790 for the loan, interest, plus the down payment.

24 Months

For a lower EMI, you can opt for a 24-month loan tenure,  which will be Rs 7,413. Here, the monthly payment is less than the 18-month tenure, but the interest  goes up to Rs 16,775. The total repayment in this scheme tallies to Rs 1,77,912 – that is Rs 4,122 extra compared to the 18-month tenure.

36 Months

Opting for the 36-month loan tenure lowers the EMI to Rs 5,177. However, the total repayment amount sums up to Rs 1,86,372, excluding the down payment. That said, you’ll end up paying Rs 8,460 more compared to the 24-month loan tenure in this scheme.

Bikedekho Says

Opting for an EMI scheme helps to ease immediate financial burden compared to a full  payment all at once. However, you will end up paying more to the bank in the form of interest, which will also increase the overall buying cost. Before applying for a loan, carefully read the terms and conditions of the bank.

Also, note that the interest rate and EMIs vary depending on the bank and your CIBIL score, as well as your loan eligibility. For getting the actual EMI and interest details, we recommend checking with your bank. Take a closer look at the bike in our image gallery here.

However, if you want to check some alternatives, here are some different options at the same price.

roller coaster of emotions

Seeing this bike for the first time on road was nothing short of fabulous and i decided to buy it, the next day only, my personal experience has a lot of ups and down. - week 1 gear shifting was buttery smooth bus after 500kms it got stiff and rigid - mirrors do not suit the bike at all - very impressive performance - 10/10 road presence - suspension is slightly rigid in city commute - riding posture is a mix of sporty and aggressive - engine feels very smooth yet powerful at the same time overall the experience has been great, if you are looking for a bike for daily commute with a punch of power and occasional long rides, would 100% recommend buying it eyes closed, more importantly if you want a bike that makes you smile when you look at it, go for it.Read More

This bike is awesome and stable

I choose this bike because of performance and mileage. Everything is perfect in the bike and the look and design is really awesome. It looks like a racer bike. This bike suit me a lot because I am 5.6. The performance of this bike is really awesome. I can play with this bike and this is really awesome for cruising or for racing because it has high performance gears and stability of the bike is awesome. I will recommend this to buy because I get sufficient mileage for city rides and if I want to go to highway, I can get around 36 to 37 which is really nice for long tours and rides. It comes with very less weight.Read More

joy ....very bad experience

Buying experience not so good, riding comfort is too bad, look is good, performence is not so good, handle bar and rider body in between distance unmatched, this is very uncomfortable for long drive like 40 to 50 km, its make pressure on hand, build quality also bad, a new bike also make noise from the body part.Read More
