The Honda CG125 has got a special edition in China, celebrating 30 years of the motorcycle
To celebrate over 30 years of the Honda CG125, the company's Chinese arm, Wuyang Honda, has launched a commemorative edition of the classic motorcycle.
Starting with the design, the Honda CG125 looks lean and retro, thanks to the rectangular theme it gets for the headlight, taillight, instrument cluster, and seat. The bike also gets square-shaped turn indicators to add to its appeal.

The India-spec Hero-Honda CD100 was almost the same in design with minor differences. For example, it featured a chrome finish on the mudguard, exhaust, and spoke wheels, while the Honda CG125 gets a blacked-out treatment. The Honda CG125 also misses out on a tail rack, unlike the Hero-Honda CD100.
Moving to the side, you see that the bike gets a blue and white paint job on its 8.2-litre fuel tank and a single-piece seat with stripes and a grab handle strap. There's also an analogue instrument cluster, a thoughtful and evocative touch. It is minimalistic in design and gets a speedometer, tachometer, and tell-tale lights.
Powering the Honda CG125 is a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that puts out 9.92PS and 9.5Nm. Its claimed top speed is 93kmph.
The bike is suspended on a telescopic fork with fork gaiters at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the CG125 uses drum brakes at both ends.
The motorcycle retails for Yuan 7,480 (approx. Rs 89,000). If you want to buy a retro-style commuter in India, your options are the Hero Splendor and the Bajaj CT 110X.
