As per the production and sales data from SIAM (Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), the Hero Mavrick 440’s numbers will... really grab attention. Hero managed to sell less than 10 units of the Mavrick in March, April and May 2025 combined! Here’s a breakdown of production and sales figures for the three months:

We’ve reached out to the brand for an official clarification, and will update the story as soon as we hear from them. We also checked with our dealer sources, and according to them, the updated Mavrick is expected to be launched in a couple of months. While this isn’t official information, the fact that the declining production and sales of the current-gen Mavrick indicates that an update might be planned.
More About the Upcoming 2025 Hero Mavrick 440:
The updated version of the Mavrick 440 was unveiled at EICMA 2024, and then showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (Auto Expo 2025) at the beginning of this year. The updated bike gets the golden-coloured inverted fork and the circular TFT instrument console borrowed from its much more premium cousin, the Harley Davidson X440. The new instrument console gets smartphone connectivity through Bluetooth along with call alerts, music controls and turn-by-turn navigation. Both the bikes are built on the same platform and share the same 440c, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine that produces 27PS and 36Nm.
The current-gen Mavrick was anyway loaded with all the useful connected features. But with the new TFT display and inverted fork, the 2025 iteration will certainly look a lot more premium. In a way, this update will be crucial for Hero as the Mavrick is the brand’s most premium product, and it’s important that the bike looks the part. Expect a price hike of around Rs 10,000 on the bike’s current ex-showroom Delhi price, which is Rs 2,24,500 for the top-end variant.
