TVS Ronin : Colours Explained

Every Ronin colour tells a different story, and we help you choose the right one

Choosing a colour for the TVS Ronin is a bigger decision than with most bikes, because the paint scheme is directly tied to the features, safety kit, and ultimately, the price you pay. Positioned as a "Modern-Retro" machine, the Ronin is available in 7 distinct colours spread across three tiers: Base, Mid, and Top, plus a special Agonda Edition. Here’s a breakdown of what each colour gets you.

Variant Tier

Colours

Key Features

Base

Lightning Black, Magma Red

Single-Channel ABS

Agonda Edition

White with Stripes

Single-Channel ABS, Unique Styling

Mid

Glacier Silver, Charcoal Ember

Dual-Channel ABS, Gold-coloured USD Fork

Top

Nimbus Grey, Midnight Blue

Dual-Channel ABS, SmartXonnect, Adjustable Levers

Base – Lightning Black

Priced at Rs 1,30,290 (ex-showroom), Lightning Black is the entry point into the Ronin family. This option features an all-black, stealthy colour scheme, covering the engine, exhaust, and alloys. It’s aimed at riders who prefer an understated look. This variant comes equipped with single-channel ABS, which is the key distinction for the Base tier.

Base – Magma Red

For a small premium over the black, the Magma Red variant offers a bold, solid red fuel tank set against the blacked-out bodywork. It delivers a more energetic, classic "hot-rod" appeal without any change in the feature list. Like its sibling, it includes single-channel ABS and is priced at Rs 1,31,990 lakh (ex-showroom).

Agonda Edition

The Agonda Edition is a special, lifestyle-oriented variant inspired by Agonda Beach in Goa. It features a unique white fuel tank with red-and-blue retro racing stripes, special "Agonda" badging, and a new seat cover. While it shares its single-channel ABS setup with the Base models, it is  placed between the Base and Mid tiers with a price of Rs 1,33,790 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mid – Glacier Silver

Stepping up to the Mid tier, which starts at Rs 1,50,040 lakh (ex-showroom), brings the most significant safety upgrade: dual-channel ABS. The Glacier Silver colourway has a silver-grey tank with a prominent red stripe, and the gold-coloured  USD fork adds to its visual appeal. This option is ideal for those who want a classic scrambler look with enhanced braking performance.

Mid – Charcoal Ember

Sharing the same price and feature set as Glacier Silver, the Charcoal Ember variant offers a darker, moodier palette. It combines a charcoal grey tank with a warm orange accent stripe. This colour is for riders who want the safety of dual-channel ABS but prefer a more aggressive and warmer aesthetic over the cooler silver tone. It is priced at Rs 1,51,340 (ex-showroom).

Top – Nimbus Grey / Midnight Blue

At the top of the range at Rs 1,62,640 lakh (ex-showroom), are the Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue options. These variants get the full suite of technology. Exclusive features include a fully digital cluster with TVS SmartXonnect for Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, call alerts, and ride analysis. They also come with adjustable levers. Nimbus Grey offers a sporty grey-and-red scheme, while Midnight Blue provides a distinctive deep blue with a lime-green accent.

TVS Ronin: Style Meets Struggle

Looks comfortable for daily commute of 140- 150 km. TVS Ronin offers 225 cc engine with good mileage of 40 kmpl, stunning looks which makes the heads turn, royal and comfy feel without compromising on city ride quality and oil cooling for better engine efficiency. Ride is smooth, punchy, confident and feels agile, makes you confident while riding but struggles in corners because of TVS tyres which lacks grip, comfort and art of cornering. The whole setup looks balanced for the price hence can't complain for that. Yes, I would recommend this bike if you are a person who can spend more on cost of ownership, the service center work is little bad, if you can tackle them thats on you because I have been doing the same, just to put your point, you have to complain otherwise they do not take you seriously specially the centers in small cities like Dewas, MP.
