TVS Raider 125: Variants Explained
Which one should you opt for?
Update: TVS Rides In New SmartXonnect Variant Of Raider In Metaverse
Which one should you opt for?

TVS has re-entered the 125cc commuter space with much aplomb, courtesy the Raider 125. Those who have had the chance to swing a leg over it have come back raving and you can head here to know why. As an aside, TVS is offering the Raider 125 in three variants and in this story, we will explore them all and help pick the right one for you:
Front Drum: Rs 85,973(Ex-showroom Delhi)
This is the standard version of the TVS Raider 125, and sports a 130mm drum at both ends with mechanical CBS as standard. However, this version of the TVS Raider also comes replete with the LED headlight and full-digital dash, and still manages to undercut its competition, like the Honda SP125 and the Hero Glamour 125, by about a few thousand rupees.

Front Disc: Rs 93,489(Ex-showroom Delhi)
From the standard to this mid-spec Raider 125, the asking price jumps up by Rs 7,516. While that is a bit much to ask for better stopping power, we would still advise you to overlook the standard version for the extra safety this trim offers. Compared to its arch rivals, this particular model is pricier, though.
Colour TFT SmartXonnect variant: Rs 99,990(Ex-showroom Delhi)
This top-spec version of the TVS Raider 125 gets a new five-inch fully digital TFT console with voice assist. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation along with auto navigation feature, weather updates, music control, call/message notifications and alerts, sport and news updates.

Our pick: Front Disc version
The TVS Raider remains a 125cc commuter and even though the SmartXonnect version is a welcome addition, one can certainly live without it. And considering it is pricier than all other conventional 125cc bikes, perhaps even a few models of the regular Pulsar 125, we would rather you save the money for items like quality riding gear.
TVS Raider User Reviews
- Good response from the customerI bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look. City riding people can prefer this mostly. This is a best mileage bike under 1.25Lakhs. i would recommend to change the colour of ABS channel(red colour) to black.Read More1 1

- TVS- RAIDERI choose raider because one of my friend suggested me to buy as this bike is good nice looks and good mileage. The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. I would like to recommend this bike to everyone other because of its looks, smooth rides, pretty good disc, nice colours, best engines, nice mileage and more than that the trust on TVS. They have been creating beats like this for very long now.Read More12 9
- My experience with TVS Raider.I wanted a bike with a decent mileage per litre because my work demands inter district commute. And after extensive search I found Raider. I wanted a bike that wasn't too boring for a mileage centred bike and this was my fair bet. Overall ride experience is satisfactory. Braking is bit off, that can be improved but if you're going in a decent speed, it shouldn't be a concern for you but if you're in a rush, it sure will affect you in one way or the other. But didn't have any bad experience till this day. Yeah, I'd recommend this bike but its safe, if you give it a test drive and make sure it's suited according to your needs. You should not feel bad after making the purchase in my opinion. But its a solid choice according to me.Read More39 30
