TVS NTorq 150 Launch Confirmed, Sporty Scooter Teased

TVS has released a teaser showcasing what looks like projector LED headlamps setup along with the familiar T-shaped design element. It’s pretty evident that this is the Ntorq 150 - TVS’ first scooter in the fast-growing 150+cc sporty scooter segment.
Pricing
The TVS NTorq 150 is expected to carry an ex-showroom price between Rs 1.3-1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). If our guess turns out to be true, then it’ll be a more affordable alternative to some rivals while still (hopefully) offering more features. This positioning would allow TVS to appeal both to buyers seeking an upgrade and to new buyers in the performance scooter space.
Design
While full specifications remain under wraps, the Ntorq 150 is expected to build on the sharp styling language of the TVS NTorq 125, but with a larger stance and bolder design elements. Teaser visuals hint at an angular apron housing four projector lamps and crisp body lines.
Engine
The exact engine configuration has not yet been confirmed, but it’ll most probably be a heavily reworked version of the 125cc engine in the NTorq to keep costs in check. We hope the upcoming TVS scooter will make around 12-14PS and 12-13Nm.
Underpinnings
The scooter could use a slightly tweaked version of the NTorq 125’s tubular steel chassis, ride on bigger 14-inch wheels, and get a front disc-rear drum brake setup with at least a single-channel ABS. What’s to be seen is whether TVS places the fuel tank under the floorboard to liberate more underseat storage space - similar to the TVS Jupiter scooters.
Features
Feature expectations are high, given the NTorq’s track record. A full colour TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, and ride modes are most likely all on the cards. We also know now from the teaser that it will not only get all-LED lighting, but will also get LED projector headlamps.

Currently the space has the Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SR 175 and Hero Xoom 160 - deliveries of which are yet to begin. - best sporty scooter under 1.5 LakhsI have used ntorq 125 in the past and decided to upgrade to ntorq 150 because I liked the new design and TFT display, the performance is good and best thing is that this machine is very quick you won't be disappointed with it's performance. Ntorq 150 gives confidence and its stable at high speed, abs works fine, lights are great, TFT display looks good but it could be brighter and the boot space is quite small as no it does not fit a full size helmet. - Test Ride Changed My MindI did not plan to buy Ntorq 150 at all. I went to buy different scooter but the showroom guy insisted I try it once. The power shocked me. It was not even my budget but I stretched it and I am so glad I did. You know something’s right when it makes you change your plan in 10 minutes. Feels powerful yet smooth. The controls respond quickly and I have never felt unsafe even in bad weather. It is been 1 year now and I still enjoy it every day. I even gifted a ride to my dad once and he said it felt like a plane on wheels. That moment made me proud of my choice. Yes, yes, yes.
