The Triumph motorcycles had an another achievement in the 600cc racing category at JK Tyre Racing championship (JKTRC) 2015. The British manufacturer grabbed the top three positions in the grand finale held at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. Juzar Motiwala, Vijay Singh and Gurvinder Singh emerged as winners during the competition fought over eight laps.

On the basis of points carried forward from previous races, this year, JKTRC (for the 600cc category) was won by Vijay Singh who is the founder of well-known ‘Rajputana Customs’. Gurvinder Singh and Archit Kumar grabbed the second and third position respectively. Once again the Triumph Daytona 675 and its R version ruled the track, as all the three podium positions were acquired by the British Marque.

The Triumph Daytona 675 equipped with a 675cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The engine power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed gearbox. The 675cc super sports machine also gets features like fully adjustable KYB suspension at both the ends, Brembo brakes, lighter wheels and quick shifter.  

On the event, Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd, said, “We saw the extremely quick and agile Triumph Daytona win big at the October races organised by JK Tyre. The finale has been nothing short of a befitting finish to the thrill. We are also extremely happy to see our Daytona once again win big with all the three podium positions. I would like to congratulate not only the winners but also each and every participant for showing so much enthusiasm and love for the sport. It has been an absolute pleasure being part of the Championship and we look forward to many more such successes for our roadsters and super sports at the track in the future.”
