On December 1, which is recognised globally as World AIDS Day, a Jaipur-based NGO took an initiative to organise a bike rally in order to spread awareness. This rally was flagged off from Jawahar Circle and went on to Albert Hall via JLN Marg. The rally returned to Jawahar Circle completing their awareness campaign. More than 300 bikers took part in this rally representing different biker groups among which was the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). Other than Harleys, the rally by Rays - Asha Ki Ek Kiran featured other powerful motorcycles from manufacturers like Triumph, KTM and Royal Enfield. The convoy was led by Indian Army officers, Captain Nipun and Captain Pranay.

Captain Nipun said, "It's a great feeling to work for a social cause and spread the word through a bike rally. I'm sure it will create a buzz." Veenu Paliwal, a Harley-Davidson owner and the only lady biker in the rally, said, "I am here to support the cause." Gurinder Virk, President of Rays - Asha Ki Ek Kiran, said, "It is just an effort to raise awareness among the masses that the disease does not spread by hugging or shaking hands with someone. This way we can only spread love, which should be the prime concern to deal with people living with the disease."
