Top 5 Best Selling Electric Two-wheelers In India: February 2025

The best-seller has retained its position in the list

Over the past few years now, the electric two-wheeler market has been growing in India significantly. With new manufacturers pitching-in their products, the EV segment is growing exponential. Here’s a list of best selling electric vehicles:

TVS iQube:

February 2025: 23,581 units sold
January 2025: 24,991 units sold
February 2024: 15,792 units sold

The TVS iQube still stands strong in terms of sales numbers, topping the list with 23,581 units sold in February 2025, which is a significant 49.32% YoY (Year-On-Year) increase in sales from February 2024. Though there’s a slight decrease in MoM (Month-On-Month) sales by 5.64%, the iQube still is a promising contender.

The TVS iQube is offered in three variants: iQube, iQube S and the iQube ST. The scooter’s prices start at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). It is offered with three battery pack options: 2.2kWh, 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh.

Bajaj Chetak:

February 2025: 21,240 units sold
January 2025: 21,045 units sold
February 2024: 13,620 units sold

The Bajaj Chetak has built a loyal customer base in the Indian market over the past few years and has been consistently selling in decent numbers.  Bajaj sold 21,240 units of the Chetak in February 2025, a massive 35.87% increase in YoY sales figures when compared with sales of February 2024. The MoM sales also had a very small bump of 0.91% when compared with sales from the previous month.

The Bajaj Chetak is currently available for sale in three variants: 2903, 3501 and 3503. The Chetak’s prices start at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom) and it offers excellent value-for-money. The Bajaj Chetak gets a claimed range of 153km from the 3.5kWh variant along with a lot of features making it an excellent value-for-money purchase.

Ather Rizta:

February 2025: 9,019 units sold
January 2025: 11,978 units sold
The Ather Rizta saw a significant 32.80% decrease in its MoM sales figures from January 2025. Despite the decrease in sales figures, the scooter still manages to outsell other electric scooters to secure the third spot on the list.

Ather Energy launched the Rizta, a family scooter from the EV maker, last year. The Rizta’s prices start at Rs 99,999 and go up till Rs 1,37,000 (all prices effective ex-showroom). The Rizta, with its design and feature list, appeals to a lot of people and at the price point it is offered, makes it the perfect pick for all your family’s mobility needs.

Hero Vida Range:

February 2025: 6,146 units sold
January 2025: 6,669 units sold
February 2024: 1,399 units sold

Hero MotoCorp’s Vida range, has managed to secure a spot on the best selling list with 6,146 units sold in February 2025, a significant 77.23% increase in its YoY sales figures. When considering monthly sales, the scooter range saw 8.50% of decrease in MoM sales figures when compared with those of January 2025.

The Vida’s prices start at Rs 74,000 and go all the way till Rs 1,15,300 (all prices effective ex-showroom). The top-end variant, Vida V2 Pro, offers a range of 165km from its 3.9kWh battery pack and can reach a claimed top speed of 90kmph. The Vida range also gets convenience features like a 7-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and cruise control feature too.

Ather 450X:

February 2025: 3,566 units sold
January 2025: 4,391 units sold
February 2024: 6,247 units sold

Ather Energy’s 450X, though, saw a significant 75.18% decrease in YoY and 23.13% decrease in MoM sales figures. The consumer’s shift to the new electric family scooter segment, that offers adequate performance without compromising the utility of the scooter, may be a reason for decline in sales for the sporty electric scooter.

The Ather 450X has been selling in decent numbers since its launch and offers great performance, range and features when compared to its competition. The scooter is available for sale in seven colour schemes and two battery pack options with the 2.9kWh variant priced at Rs 1,46,999 and the 3.7kWh variant priced at Rs 1,56,999 (all prices ex-showroom). The scooter offers segment leading safety and convenience features along with frantic performance from its motor.

Hamara bajaj is now hamara chetakev

I had purchased it when ev was new in market, I am very much satisfied. I had drove it for more than 50000 kms with no expense. I had to change only tyres and regular service only one auxiliary battery of Rs. 800 had been changed. I am quiet impressed me and my son both have purchased but there is very less front space between handle and seat to carry extra luggage vegetables or ration need to improve in this area good service staff in patni and Nagpur. I will recommend everyone to go for this ev only. Positive, Very good for local commute, I had recovered all the money spend for purchase, me and my son had not spend a single penny for petrol, very pleasant ride for city and highway also but with limitation of distance. mid age person college boys with huge space in seat box for helmet and laptop girls working women also it's value for money, I had already 2 chetak with me and both vehicle had been run for 50000 and 23000 kms planning to purchase one more for my wife.Read More
