Taller windscreens, panniers, and many other additions to turn the new Himalayan into a serious adventure tourer

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452’s specifications had been revealed recently, and now, we have a fair idea about the accessories for the upcoming Royal Enfeld adventure bike as well. Royal Enfield will be offering accessories for the Himalayan 452 in two themes, the adventure theme and the rally theme
There are certain accessories that are common to both themes and include engine guard (to prevent damage to the engine), headlight grill (to protect the headlight lens from stones and other flying debris) and bash plate (to protect the underbelly from debris). Apart from these, Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will offer spoke wheels with tubeless tyres as an accessory fitment later.
The adventure theme is more suited for riders who are interested in touring, and includes taller windscreen, auxiliary LED lamps, tank bag, additional panniers that can be mounted on the tank braces, touring seats for both the rider and pillion, aluminum top box and panniers and saddle stays all of which turn the bike into an ideal tourer.
The Rally theme kit gives the bike wider handlebars, full-length knuckle guards with aluminium brace, radiator guard, rally seat with seat height of approximately 855mm, differently designed tail panel, tail bag, soft panniers and an exhaust from Arrow. Sadly, the exhasut will not be available for the Indian market.
Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed the prices of these accessories but we expect it to be announced shortly after the Himalayan 452 is launched later this month. The Himalayan 452 is expected to be priced at Rs. 2.8 Lakhs(ex-showroom)
