Hero’s electric two-wheeler division, Vida, is all set to launch a new electric scooter range in India, on July 1, 2025. Hero had recently revealed in an earnings call that it plans to launch two affordable EVs in July this year. Interestingly, Hero recently applied for the trademark of the names “VIDA VX2”, “VIDA VX2 PRO”, “VIDA VX2 PLUS”, and “VIDA VX2 GO”. These names clearly indicate a range of electric scooters with different variants. The most obvious deduction seems like the new names of Hero’s existing V2 lineup. However, that seems unlikely since Hero changed its EVs’ names from V1 to V2 only in December 2024.
The other possibility could be that it may be a family-friendly, affordable range of electric scooters that will likely be cheaper than the existing V2 range. The latest variant-wise pricelist of the Vida V2 e-scooter range is as follows:

The VX2 range is likely to be more affordable by around Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000 over the respective V2 variants. If our price guess is right, then Hero will have a healthy lineup of electric scooters catering to different users at different price points. Hero has been lagging behind in the electric scooter space when compared to other big brands such as Bajaj and TVS. But with the upcoming lineup, Hero should slowly be able to gain the market share. - VIDA VX2 IS A GOOD FOR MEFor my daily up and down from office, when I have a bike, my petrol costs are very high and servicing, maintenance are then my electric scooter, so I decided to buy an under budget scooter. So I buy this. In this scooter, better comfort than other scooter. This is cost effective scooter. When your daily running is under 80 km, then this will best for you. This is RTO registered scooter. This scooter have 70 km/hr top speed. This scooter is good for student and older, girls and delivery partner and courier boy for better earning. This is easy to use and affordable price, better battery pack and nice look, big seat and USB socket. At the end, Vida VX2 is my good choice.Read More
- Deal with the devilI bought this due to hero brand associated i have visited service center multiple time experience was not good but if you compare to ola or any other brand it was decent the company send their vehicle to lift it and replace parts freely if you have 5 year extended warranty Ride so far is good I enjoyed driving it sometimes i face problems like secondary battery issue display issues rear rim damage rear brake drum change 3 times but all this happened bcz we drive it a lot i have driven 14000 km in 1 year I would say definitely go for it ev is in evolving phase yet they are much cheaper than petrol and as there are uncertainty associated with petrol prices this is best option no service required only basic maintainance.Read More
