New TVS Jupiter 110: What Else Can You Buy For The Same Price
The new TVS Jupiter 110 doesn’t really click with you? Don’t worry, here are 5 similarly priced alternatives
TVS Jupiter 110 has recently received a generational update that changes its styling, adds more features, and it also gets a new mild-hybrid engine. With all that, it is now priced from Rs 73,700 to Rs 87,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new TVS Jupiter 110 has all the right ingredients, which could potentially make it the best 110cc scooter in India. More on that in our 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 first ride review. To give you a quick recap of its features, the Jupiter now gets a vertical digital instrument console with voice assistance, smartphone connectivity, & navigation, ‘Follow Me Home’ headlights, emergency brake warning, and more.
All in all, it makes for a strong contender in the family scooter segment. However, if you would like to buy something else instead, here are 5 two-wheelers that we think could be good, similarly priced alternatives:
Honda Activa 6G - Rs 76,684 - Rs 82,624
The Honda Activa is the best-selling scooter in India.
It’s got a 109.51cc air-cooled engine that makes 7.84PS and 8.90Nm. Though that’s a bit less than what the Jupiter 110 makes. However, Honda has a well-spread service network, and a rather niggle-free service experience. The latter is something TVS is strongly working on.
While the Jupiter 110 goes all out with features, the Activa plays it humble, taking a very riding-focussed approach. However, the Activa shines with its H-smart key which is essentially a keyfob remote that allows for a keyless ignition.
Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 - Rs 82,911
The Hero Splendor is the most sold bike in India.
It’s so because of its reliable, robust, and frugal 110cc engine. Not to mention the rock-solid service network Hero MotoCorp has, and the ease of maintenance that the Splendor comes with. The Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is the most premium variant, and comes with features like an LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity for phone alerts, a USB charging port near the instrument cluster, start-stop tech, and more.
While the Jupiter makes more power and torque than the Splendor, the latter offers a more comfortable ride, with bigger wheels and longer suspension travel. Though, you do miss out on the storage space. If you’d like the Splendor in a rather simple form, you can also check out its lower variants, Splendor Plus Xtec and Splendor Plus.
Suzuki Access 125: Rs 79,899 - Rs 90,500
The Suzuki Access 125 is the quickest 125cc scooter in India.
While the Access 125 may look quite understated, it’s quite a quick scooter; even outperforming the TVS Ntorq 125 in some performance tests. Not just that, the Access also offers a comparably (if not more) comfortable ride than the Jupiter 110. With the higher variants, the Access also gets a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity for phone alerts and navigation, a USB charging port on the front apron, and more.
However, the Jupiter 110 offers more underseat storage space than the Access. That said, some taller riders might find the Jupiter more cramped with a slightly lower positioned handlebar, as compared to the Access.
Ola S1 X - Rs 74,999 - Rs 99,999
The most affordable Ola Electric scooter.
The Ola S1 X is the most affordable electric scooter from the EV company. As such, it’s the cheapest electric scooter from any of the premium brands in India. The S1 X claims a similar performance to the Jupiter, and storage space as well. However, the S1 X has more features, especially in the higher, more expensive variants.
While the Ola S1 X comes with lower running costs, Ola’s fast charging network is not as well spread out, which can make charging a time-consuming affair on a daily basis.
TVS Raider 125 - Rs 95,439 - Rs 1,03,830
The TVS Raider 125 is one of the sportiest 125cc commuter bikes in India.
And it also offers an extensive list of features - digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. However, that's the most expensive variant. Rest of the variants have to do with a simpler, reverse-LCD instrument cluster. Features aside, all the variants get the same 124.8cc air and oil-cooled engine that makes 11.38PS and 11.2Nm. That makes it quite more powerful than the Jupiter 110. And being a bike, the Raider should also have a more comfortable ride experience.
With everything that the Raider does better than Jupiter, it commands almost Rs 8,000 more than the scooter. That can put it out of contention for those with a tight budget.

I choose raider because one of my friend suggested me to buy as this bike is good nice looks and good mileage. The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. I would like to recommend this bike to everyone other because of its looks, smooth rides, pretty good disc, nice colours, best engines, nice mileage and more than that the trust on TVS. They have been creating beats like this for very long now.Read More
